Ok, I'm rather new to the dating scene and I've been trying the online dating sites, mostly local to my area. I have met some nice men,( and yes , some not so nice) but my question is this...How do I know if I'm coming on too strong....usually we start off on a chat line, e-mail..then work our way to the phone. So, how do I know if I'm sending too many e-mail...or calling to often? I have always been "enthusiastic" and meeting someone nice is rare on these sites...how can I be sure that I'm showing interest without seeming desperate? Is playing hard to get a good idea? or is that better left until after we meet?? Come on give me a few suggestions..

don't worry about coming on too strong. getting to know someone knew is very exciting. i'm sure the guys you talk to are excited to get to know you too.
definitely be yourself. if you are enthusiastic(which is a super quality to have!) then be enthusiastic. a lot of us guys appreciate energetic enthusiastic women! good luck!

Just be yourself. If you're enthused about meeting people, then wait until you find someone else who is equally enthusiastic, or at least likes that you are.
