I know a story of someone who being a boy had to use a popcan in a traffic-jam.. but when I was little, and I've always been a bit slow on holding the tinkles, my dad would pull onto a side road and I'd go in a concession ditch. I think in the city everyone has occasion to dribbles and now I'm in the life stage called old age
I prepare with special pads.they have them for old guys too..and I'd bet younger people have their pantiliners and etc.cause you never know when you might get stuck in traffic. On an embarrassment scale..it's probably not as bad as farting a really obnoxious fart on a packed bus in winter when the windows are closed. I have been known to eyeball the guy next to me or gal, like it was them..What me? coursenot...Its a common human dilemna.
But on this track of extreme situations..I heard a story from a womanfriend..she was on the subway in winter with big tall winter boots, three small children in tow,
she couldn't afford to get off the subway and find a restaurant and so was riding back to the only washroom on the line that she knew of but in all the time of turning around and the indecision the urgency grew.. she really had to go, bursting a few dribbles came.. then a stream , she panicked lost control and well those boots got full to overflowing, a bit later laughing over the many usages of winter boots, she told me her story.
A little wetness or a bootful, laughter is the best medicine..pee happens!

I keep a jug in the car for #1 but I don't know what I'd do if it was a #2. A friend was caught in a traffic jam for an hour and held in diarrhea (700 degree swamp water, as he called it). A super human feat for sure.

I just had a question up about was it ever legal to pee by the side of the road if you totally had to go and the legal answer is NO, it is against the law. I think the law needs to be changed, it needs to be accomodating to human biology, to human pain, and to reality.

I had a friend that did. Has IBS. Was trying to get to an old apartment which they were moving or just had moved out of and shat themselves. Went to the apt anyway the only thing they could find was a box of hefty bags and packing tape. put the undies and jeans in one bag, bathed and cut two leg holes and grabbed some packing tape to make shift undies and drove on home. That's the hefty bag story.

Luckily I was the passenger in a rag top. I just popped my @$$ over the edge and let er rip. We had to go through the next car wash (about 200 miles down the road) but I was relieved!
