I am thinking of pursuing a guy who is of a different race (i am black and he is white) and I just wanted some advice from people who are in or have been in an interracial relationships. Thanks

go for it! that is, if you're into him because he's a great guy and not because he's white. race shouldn't matter when it comes to the heart, so even if he were purple you should pursue him. my boyfriend is white and i am black. we get along very well and race only comes up when someone else makes an issue (big or small) of it. just make sure you two share common goals and similar outlooks on life and you two should be alright. good luck!

if you like him go for it. im in a interracial realtion ship and of course it will be difficult at times but stick together. some people just wont aporve or understand but if it makes you happy more power to you.

no advice needs to be given.. if that's what u wanna do then go for it.. just make sure u let him know up front what u want in a relationship and let him know what u want tolerate, u know like cheating, physical abuse and stuff like that..
race is nothing... most men posess the same traits.. just don't sterotype him and don't allow him to stereotype u...
