I am sure it really happens. In my state a mother can leave her child at the hospital or police station with no questions asked. The baby then will be put up for adoption.

It happens in real life. Better for someone to drop a baby on someones doorstep then to drop them in a trash can. Please if you must drop your baby somewhere please be sure it's a safe place that you know your child will be cared for.

babies are abondoned all the time! Unfortunately they usually aren't left in baskets on people's door step but in dumpsters!

no, it happens. there was just a case around my area here in philadelphia, pennsylvania but they found the woman who did it.
