Nope, I dont deserve my family, the primary reason being the way my dad and brother have neglected me all my life, right since my childhood.

My first instinct was to say no but I realized that I was selling myself short. The strength of my family comes from my wife's' continuous application of unconditional love. I have learned a lot from her. My contribution has given stability and balance to our household. None of it is perfect but we try to learn from our mistakes.
I don't know if "deserve" is the proper term. It implies expectation of reward or punishment. Our families are what we make of them and a reflection of who we are. We reap exactly what we sow.

my husband told me that he doesn't deserve his family because of how they treat him which is very rotten and they only come to see him when they want something from him. he wishes that he had a better family that would love him for who he is and not take and take from him without even a thank you.

Let me elaborate.
They are a gift from God. Nothing I could have done could deserve the love i receive from them.

Yes, I Do! The reason I say that is because I appreciate, love and support them. Which is the way I want to be treated.
