Does the docter doing the coloncoscpy does he or she check the left side and the right side?

I am going to have one done. My left side is the worst side and now I am a liquid meal my right side is hurting, I drank a lot of apple juice the whole bottle is that why my side hurts now??

The colon wraps back and forth to both sides, so the colonoscopy will check both sides.

Sounds like some gas pressure from the apple juice. Go to the bathroom.
