She took a nasty flip off her mountain bike and pretty much totalled her teeth. She knocked 3 completely out and 4 or 5 were barely hanging in there. Her friend(the 10 year old's) told her not to worry they would grow back, so sometime during the night she decided to take the loose ones out because they were hurting. Now she has no upper or lower front teeth. Her mom doesn't have dental coverage and not much money. I doubt if they'll grow back, she's 10 going on 11. Ever hear of getting new front teeth at her age?How will she ever get that fixed now?

I'm just about positive they were her adult teeth because they were pretty big looking before she knocked them out. She couldn't find them after she fell. Welfare won't help because she makes just a little too much to qualify.

Those were her permanent teeth? Sometimes if you're pretty quick about it you can take the teeth (keep them in milk) to the dentist & he can work magic putting them back in. But after a few days, I'd think it's pretty much a hopeless cause.
I think I'd get the girl to the dentist anyway & get her examined & and estimate for a bridge or partial or whatever it takes to get her some front teeth. The dentist can probably arrange payments for her.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry to hear about that, poor little girl. I hope this helps. There is a very in-expensive but high-quality dental plan that can help you with that. I Knocked out my Front tooth when I was in 4th grade and My mom took me to get it fixed and he did (it was just a few hours after I did it) anyways that didn't work My tooth still fell out so about after the 3rd time we when to him again and he said that a Crown was the best thing to do in my case! So I had him put a crown in and now its been about 4 years now and I still have the crown in (and no it not a permanent one ether because the coverage I had would not cover it so I got a tembarey crown in and I have had it in for 4 years and to tell you the truth it was ceapper) anyway in this girls case the only thing to do is get a crown but the bad thing is she is not going to be able to ride her Mountain bike (Will she could but her risk of knocking them out is really high) other then that there is really no cheap way to fix this. All I can say is go to your dentist and ask him what can be do if any!

If they were her adult teeth they will not grow back and by 10 years old they probably were. How to get them fixed? You will have to try and work out a payment schedule with a dentist. This will not be a cheap fix. Does welfare come into this situation? Maybe they can help.

Oh, noo.... They won't grow back.
With regular dentist - I'm afraid very very expensive...
If they are poor a good option may be to find a dental school that teaches DDS. Graduating DDS students can do it much cheaper. I mean, something like 10 times cheaper. The way to find out about it is probably by asking a regular dentist where can they find a much cheaper option.

You did the right thing! She is only ten years old, and if she is already being told to kiss someone, imagine what will happen in the next game of truth or dare! Next it will be to strip off naked! Well done! On her next party, make sure you go in reguarly to check on how they are. If she tell you to go away, say that she is only a child, and you have a right to no what your daughter is getting up to. Good Luck x

MOUTH GUARDS, MOUTH GUARDS, MOUTH GUARDS!
When I suggest them to parents, they respond to me as though I'm a salesperson in a plaid suit trying to sell them sheepskin upholstery for their car.
This girl's friend is a f*cking moron. At the age of 10, this girl (and her friend) have lost all of their primary (baby) front teeth (incisors) and their permanent incisors have long-since erupted. For her "friend" (who could very well be Marianne M) to have forgotten this demonstrates pure stupidity.
The 10 year old girl in question is out of luck for now. She can get a denture to replace the missing teeth. A fixed prosthetic (e.g. bridge or implant) is out of the question for now. When she is older, fixed prosthetics can be considered, but will obviously involve a lot of money.

it depends on if she has gotten her baby teeth out yet, they may still grow back. She should look into government programs - like state medical coverage - they often have dental can help her and her daughter live healthy lives
