No, at this time, medicare does not cover homeopathy. Let me explan.

I know the people who provide homeopathy pin their hopes on this changing but I honestly don't see it happening for many, many years.

Medicines via normal medicine go through years and years of testing before they are approved for sale. This cost drug companies millions of dollars from inception to the time it hits the market (if it ever does). It take drug companies years to recupe the money they lose from a minimum of 20 years of development and testing done to get a product approved by the FDA. However, this was all instituted years ago due to the disasterous results from thalidomide.

For homeopathy to receive coverage, all their products would have to go through this intensive scrutiny to be sure that they do what the advertise they do and to be sure they are safe. It will ve a long time coming. One, they don't want this intense scrutiny (as many of their products do not work) and two, it would cut into their profit margin since they are already high priced and that mark up is all clear profit right now.

yes it will effect but after some times.Homeopathy emphasises treating the underlying imbalance in the immune system rather than simply fighting the infection–although in the moment, fighting the infection may be the priority. Note that some of the remedies below say, “for the first stage of the cold”. to see more:
