Have you seen your X-rays? Look at them with your dentist. If they are growing parallel with the adjacent teeth, and if they don't encroach on the gum tissues at the back of the jaws, and if you don't bite your cheeks when you close or chew, and if they don't hurt, and if the gums don't swell around them, THEN you will probably be OK keeping them. These are general guidelines only and people are different. IF all of the above are OK, you still may have problems later simply because they are SO FAR BACK THERE! They are hard to brush and floss. Hope this helps.

If they are already on the surface, not too crowded, not painful, you can floss, you're not biting your cheeks - nothing interesting will happen.

If your teeth are still inside the gum you're not out of the woods yet. If you jaw is not large enough to accomodate them, they will keep trying to grow and will give you trouble. If your jaw is large, they will grow and might be OK.

Nothing if you're teeth aren't too crowded. As long as you can get floss in between, and you're not bitting your cheeks with them, you'll be ok.

I'm 32. Still have mine and I'm fine, although one did get a cavity and I had to have it filled. Unless they are causing me pain, I will keep them.

I had to have my upper ones taken out because they were causing problems. I still have my lower ones and they don't hurt at all.

If they don't give you any pain leave them alone. If there is not enough room for them there will be pain.
