Holly Lakefield and Adam Faylson.
(I'm writing a book and want to see how people react to these names. Thought parents and parents-to-be might have some helpful insight!)

Last names. Holly Maria (after my mom, lol) and for Adam I don't really know.

As for what book I'm writing, don't have a title yet, but it's a novel for young adults.

I think that you should ask around for ideas with people you know.
Also, there is a websit that you can go to for baby names and what they mean.
Good luck with your book, and those names are quite interesting and OK.

P.S. My favorite name for a girl is Ruby, Elizabith, and Carissa. Carissa means beloved in, I think, Greek.

Adam Faylson is good, but change Holly Lakefield to Holly Wakefield. The whole thing kind of looks like a fake name. However I do know a girl named Summer Blizzard... :o) Good luck with your book.

Holly Lakefield sounds OK...Adam Faylson not so much...maybe drop the Y or the L from the last name. Otherwise, when you read it, you may not know how to pronounce it (is it like FAIL-SUN or FAY-UL-SUN). Try sticking to names that can only be pronounced 1 way. Just my opinion.

I like Holly Lakefield. I don't like Adam Faylson though. The name does sound like 'fail son'. Don't know if that's th e purpose of the characters name though...

They seem a little too cliche. They just seem like names that have been used repeatedly in fiction writing. That's just my opinion though, if you think those names suit your characters then go ahead and use them.
