Yes, it is. No Christian should ever study anything that contradicts the Holy Bible--that would include geology, psychology, archaeology, paleontology, biology, history...all you need to know is right in the Holy Bible!

Come on, the best minds in the world don't even have a complete grasp on "M-Theory" -- it's still in its infant stages as a theory and any physicist who knows anything about it states that even the smartest people are still working on a good understanding of what it might be, much less what it is!
I say this with confidence: You know next to nothing about M-Theory. How can I say that with confidence? No one knows much about M-Theory, even the people that are hard at work on it!
Please don't throw around arguments that you do not understand. Playing with matches will only get you burned.

On the contrary, M-theory can explain very well the existence of other level of existance, such as heavan or hell. It has a basic belief in other 'dimensions' which can be other levels of existence. Perhaps 1 is heavan, 1 hell, 1 is an astral plane where shamans and the like can project their spirits, etc...
But really, string theory is just that, a theory. It as assumption on top of assumtion. It by no means should be taken as 'gospel', so to speak.

I agree. Some people, however, are more comfortable putting a name on the force that unifies everything. For the religious, the unifying force is God, God created the code that put the laws of the universe into action. So, no, isn't wrong for Christians to study it. I think it's short-sighted for anyone to say that science and spirituality cannot be united. Quantum mechanics is a perfect explanation of spirituality.

I'm sorry you'll have to explain why that removes the need for a creator. I am fully aware of string theory and M-theory but they only help explain how things probably work on a fundamental level. Or do you know something I don't, if so then please tell me.

M-theory is not yet complete, so I'd say it's premature to make such a claim. However, we can eliminate the need for a creator through philosophy simply by knowing that time is part of the universe.
A sentient creator has been obsolete since Darwin, and any form of creator at all has been obsolete since Einstein.

Oh come on - Christianity has never moved as a
unified block. Many of the most profoundly brilliant
minds in science have been Christian.
If nothing else, understanding God's world should
bring you closer to God (Strings & all), right?
What is the point in being so devicive? Do you
really think that attempting to change someone's
mind with respect to religion is going to do
ANYONE any good?

AMEN to Suzany13's answer...Right on the mark
As to jxt299's answer...some of the subjects you wrote that shouldn't be studies by a Christian HAVE to be studied in order to graduate high school and to obtain a college degree
Study hard BUT believe what God's HOLY WORD says over all theories UNTIL they can once and for all be proven..BUT like Suzany13 says, they won't be proven until Jesus comes back and sets His foot upon the mountain

that's basically the backward youthful Earth creationists who whinge approximately evolution. by utilising some standards, they are not even Christians. Be that because it ought to, they're nonetheless whining approximately "transitional fossils" whilst that concern replaced into resolved greater advantageous than a century in the past. None of them look to video show that the actuality of evolution is defined by utilising genetics, no longer old bones and has been for eighty years or greater. None of them look to video show of the information from the genome scans achieved contained in the previous dozen years, the endogenous retroviruses that coach previous a lifelike doubt that human beings and chimpanzees had a situation-free ancestor, the chromosome fusions and all the rest. they're thoroughly unaware that evolution replaced into detected by utilising the learn of latest organisms with in hassle-free terms helping information from fossils. String concept is a sprint too some distance previous them. they only have not got the maths. a number of their leaders do no longer even comprehend physics because it replaced into in 1850, we see that each and every of the time with their "water canopies" and misinterpretation of the 2d regulation of thermodynamics. Or they fake to no longer comprehend. honestly they're basically liars. As for the followers, they do no longer unquestionably think of and that they have got not got a clue. there is yet another side to this. Evolution isn't a concept, it somewhat is an stated certainty. The leaders attempt to get around it by utilising calling it a concept and attacking it as though it have been one. even nevertheless, string concept somewhat is "in hassle-free terms a concept" even no count number if that's a solid one. so as that they do no longer ought to spend lots time on it.

M-theory does not remove the need for a creator. In fact, it shows at least 11 dimensions of God creatING the universe. However, it seems more like Taoism than Xianity. Just my opnion.
