I agree. I don't think you're a true Christian if you carry a hatred for and judge others. The term Christianity came form the word "Christ" - the followers and believers in Christ. If you cannot live your life as close as possible to the life of Jesus, then you aren't living as a Christian.

Jesus did not teach tolerance.
Believe it or not, there are a lot of true Christians in the world. Most of the skeptics love to condemn Christians that either hurt them or are "hypocrits." All Christians are, but God made a way called forgiveness.
The Bible warns us not to judge others but it also teaches to hold each other accountable for one anothers actions. There's a fine line. No one is without sin, of course, but we must be held accountable for everything we do. And one day, we will.
So I'll answer your question with a question.
Jesus is gonna play the tape of your whole life one day.
Will He say well done?
Or will you be well done?

I am trying to remember how many times I have called myself a sinner on here. It's many, many times. Now the number of times I have condemned someone else for being a sinner (I think we can agree we are all sinners)... None? That's it None... Now the number of time I have warned others here that the wages of sin is Death... LOTS... Then the Love of Christ is made know by saying that I and many other christian here say turn to Christ (as we have done) and receive forgiveness. We aren't better than anyone, we have just asked to be forgiven. If you don't surrender to Christ He will be the Judge. And like any decent person the destruction of anyone will cause me pain...Jim

You are mistaken in your supposition that love is total acceptance.
John 3:16-21 CLEARLY shows God's love is mixed perfectly with HIS judgment.
Jesus does tell us "you will know them by their fruit". So we may be "Fruit inspectors" and not be going against what Christ has spoken.
As Christians we do not have to judge all we have to do is tell others "What you sow you will reap". If you sin (according to God's words) you will be punished (according to God's words)
There is no judging just telling others the truth according to the bible.
John 3:16"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.
18"There is no judgment awaiting those who trust him. But those who do not trust him have already been judged for not believing in the only Son of God. 19Their judgment is based on this fact: The light from heaven came into the world, but they loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. 20They hate the light because they want to sin in the darkness. They stay away from the light for fear their sins will be exposed and they will be punished. 21But those who do what is right come to the light gladly, so everyone can see that they are doing what God wants."

I think that it s the responsibility of the Christian to hate the sin but love the sinner. That does not include tolerance for the sinner which in todays politically correct and humanistic world view allows them credibility and a green light to pursue any behavior including the beheading of innocents.

I do not judge others. That is God's job.
He makes clear to us what His desire for us includes. He gave us the Bible so that we would know what is right and what is wrong.
He also COMMANDS believers to tell others.
This is not judgement on our part, it is information dissemination with a loving heart of service.
You are correct, we are to love as Jesus loves! He loves us enough to tell us when we are sinning and we love you the same.
Mat 28:18 Then Jesus came near and said to them, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Mat 28:19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

revelation of Jesus christ 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Jesus said as many as i love ,i will also rebuke them.
the point is if somebody murdered somebody than the police & court will hang the man whether he repented or not
but Jesus always gives us chances after chances if we faithfully repent and turn away from our sins.
now struggling with a particular sin is a different matter again,
but the total focal point how humbly you are struggling with your sin.
but an unrepenting heart is not forgiven there are many verses to support this just read John the baptists & Jesus preaching in the bible.

from you question I can not tell if you are professingThe Christian Faith or not... But you do have it correct that God Loves all of His creation... and That Jesus' Love for mankind was so great that he willingly went to the sacrifice so that ALL would have TheWay to come to God as God proscribes, and recieve God's free gift of Salvation
No one is without sin...No one of this mortal existance
No one of The True Christian Faith judges any one... But those of The Faith know The Truth. If one is not of The Faith then those of us who are know their fate... and that is to be judged by God and rejected, because they rejected Him.

are you confusing evaluating , warning and condemning
one can speak the truth in love, warning someone and that is not a form of condemnation
and Jesus himself thought it appropriate to call the Pharisees snakes on a few occation... was it condemning or callin a spade a spade?

That argument makes no sense. You're basically trying to justify ignoring Jesus's teachings with Jesus's teachings. Hey, if you're into situational ethics, more power to ya - but leave the Bible out of it.
