My Nurse recommended the Medifast Diet to me. You eat 5-6 small meals a day and lose weight with little or no exercise. It works great and I have lost 25 lbs. so far. You've probably heard this before, but the best way to lose weight is to eat every 2 to 3 hours, tons of water and tone way down on the caffeinated beverages. Exercise is going to help you too. Walking is one of the best ways. One to two pounds a week is healthy for losing weight. Good luck to you.

1. you lose weight by consuming fewer Calories than you burn
2. you gain weight by consuming more Calories than you burn.
3. you should be concerned with losing FAT, not weight. There are 3500 Calories/Lbs of fat. To lost one pound of fat/week you have to burn 3500 Calories/week more than you consumed. there are 2500 Calories in a pound of muscle.
4. You should be more concerned with your percent body fat, not your weight.
5. the best, most effective way or burning fat is by combining weight-training and cardio exercise. The more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism will be. You will burn more calories all day long, including while you sleep. A health body fat percentage for males is 7-18%, females 18-24% (approximate numbers).
6. you should eat 6-8 small meals each day - this will prevent you from eating 3 large meal which will slow your metabolism while your body works to digest the large quantity of food.
As a general rule of thumb, you should be weight-training 3-4 times per week and performing cardio 3-5 times per week.

The best way to lose weight is to understand the periodic table and the amount of servings of each food group that you need in one day. Also, record what foods you eat per day and their servings and compare it to the periodic table. It is best that you also look at the nutrition facts of each item that you consume. make sure it is less than 10% all fats. another way to lose weight is to quit eating junk food and exercise. You could start with an easy walk of half a mile, then a mile and so on. What will make you lose weight rapidly is to eat more simple foods like fresh fruit and fresh vegetables. Cut down on meats like steaks and pork and eat more fish—low in fat, high on protein. Eat low fat yogurt and drink skim milk but no ice-cream! also try to cut down on cheese.

Personally, I think quitting these foods gave me a lot more energy. If you have a sweet tooth, try to think of fruit. In other words, enjoy fruit instead of candy and junk food. Fruit is also sweet you know. If you feel like you have a limited diet by quitting all of these junk foods try exotic foods. Honestly I eat like a pig but weigh only 100 pounds and I am 5 feet 4 inches. The reason why I stay in shape is because I quit all of these “goodies” and I walk a lot. Replace those bags of chips with a mouthwatering bag of oranges.

A little advice for you- diets never work. Just eat small portions of healthy foods(fresh fruits and veggies, limited intake of meat), and drink tons of water. Oh yeah, and exercise.

I'd say special K or slim fast. but they are not good for you!! losing weight quickly WILL come back and is likely to come back + some.

A easy but probaly not healthy way is exlax. Take to blue exlax pills before you got to bed w/ water. It works.

yeah i agree that special k helps but you should also excersice like walk for 30 min a day and maybe even do some yoga moves and just eat healthy but PLEASE don't get to obsessed with your wieght!! we woman have other things not just the "look"....hope this helps you!!
