Hmmm.....
Maybe the real question is, "What group here on earth sutvive, and why".

If "I" had to guess, it would be the ones who live each day looking for knowledge due to the fact-------------
What if we had to start over tomorrow.
No Technology.
No Government.
No Money.
People that understood the true power of Creativity and Contribution.
What would you have to offer, if we had to start over.
What do you know.
Well, please, think about this one.
Could you survive on your own, with no help.
Or with people who had knowledge to bring to the table.
Why should our story go on to the next chapter.
Or do you not have the courage.
To Learn.
To Experience.
To Know.
"It makes me wonder" --Led Zeppelin(Stairway)

Well, what do you mean by apocalypse? If you mean the "Rapture" then supposedly the meek shall inherit the earth. And as I said before, that's the agnostics: they're the ones that haven't decided.

But if you mean who would survive the armageddon of, say, a rogue planet scenario, it'd be the people who possess both the physical stature, the mental fortitude and drive, and the knowledge necessary to take a survivalist posistion and live on despite the mass damage.

Anyway it's impossible for us to have NO technology. We still have sticks. Unless all the engineers died off, we'd have the ability to reproduce our technology. There are still books and other sources of information, so we could rebuild... we would have the technology... or something like that.

First, humanity will probably cause the apocalyptic event, so as a whole we wouldn't really deserve to survive. Then, one would have to be lucky enough to be in the right safe place at the right safe time. Next, only those who could fend for themselves or contribute to a community of fellow survivors would survive further. While those survivors would attempt to help all, if one couldn't contribute, one would probably be naturally selected out.

Those who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of Lords. They will live forever in Paradise with the Lamb.

The true believers may already be dead before any apocalyptic event comes along.

Do not worry about not having money or Led Zeppelin - you will see Led Zeppelin in Paradise (as long as they accepted Christ as Savior).

I see your point, but people who are survivalists (in the American redneck sense) tend to be hardcore christians. I think they are too willing to see the world end and obsess over it.

Anway, I'm ready if it turns into Mad Max. Who wants to be in my tribe?

HAHA - This is the funniest thing I've read all day:
"Do not worry about not having money or Led Zeppelin - you will see Led Zeppelin in Paradise (as long as they accepted Christ as Savior)."

Who is to say that we were meant to survive. Maybe this place on earth is only a temporary habitat for our souls. Maybe we are only here to learn. Maybe this is why we all die and are reborn. Because we failed to accomplish the tasks we were here to do. I sure as hell don't want to come back after this lifetime.

If we restarted the world today I would say that the one that would survive and strive the best would probably be the Protestants, the work ethic thing and all.

If it comes down to such an event, the only ones to survive will probably be the ones who caused it.
