Does eating hot sauce or chilies with your food make you eat more of it? Does the spicyness make you focus more on the spice rather than your stomach being full?

I find that hot sauce is slightly addictive...the more I put on my food, the more I want to eat it. Sometimes, I will get another helping just so I can have the hot sauce. They say that your brain puts out endorphins which gives you a natural high. Of course, if it were possible, I would have hot sauce with nothing, but it's just too strong. So, I put it on food. Fortunately, I have a high metabolism. So, in answer to your question, I focus more on the spiciness than the food itself. Great question!

No, warm sauce can no longer help you reduce weight. weight help is an issue-free formula - energy in could be decrease than energy out. 8 pounds in 18 days is honestly do-in a position, yet no longer so very healthful. that's about 5 pounds a week Secondly, any time you're attempting to commence dropping weight, you'll lose lots the first week (many times about 5 pounds) with the aid of shown actuality that you'll drop some water weight on the instantaneous. After that, maximum women folk could shoot for a million-3 pounds a week loss. finally, keep in mind that you favor to stay a healthful existence style lengthy time period. exercising, devour acceptable and sleep adequate and also you'd be tremendous.

Actually, I've heard the opposite-- you feel full sooner when you eat spicy foods...

The chemical heat sets off an adrenaline reaction, speeding up your metabolism, and I suspect your body says, "Enough" sooner, because of it.

Spicy foods should be a dieter's best friend!! Those kinds of foods raise the metabolism, help you feel full sooner, and they usually don't have quite as many calories, either!!

I don't think hot sauce makes you eat more.

It is probably one of those illusion corolations...Just because two things go together doesn't mean "one causes the other"

Like there was a statistic that said that "Well groomed children do better in school" Well that doesn't mean that putting good clothes on dumb kids makes them smart...It could just mean that kids that come from rich houses have more resources to focus on their kids period...so duh they do better in school...

Anyhow, so spicy foods tend to go with ethnic quizine, which when it is Americanized tends to get kinda heavy...Like real Mexican food isn't so bad, but the Tex Mex You get in restaurants is all fried etc.

One things for sure, If I start eating chips and hot sauce, or chicken wings with hot sauce on them, I can't stop because it starts to really burn, so I eat continuously till full then stop to tank up on something to soothe my burning mouth.
