No. I'm a Christian, but I listen to Tool, Zeppelin,Slayer, Black Sabbath and alot of other heavy metal bands. I don't worship those bands I listen to it because I like the music. It doesn't affect my beliefs. I do know some Christians who won't listen to certain music...to each their own. Everyone should follow their own beliefs and worship in their own way. Some of us are more open than others.

It's not necessarily against my faith I just don't like what they're singing about with some of their songs. The bible says to be careful what we take in a lot of times their stuff is just negative.

I personally love the style of music of Tool and Zeppelin and will listen to them if they come on the radio but it's too much of a downer sometimes. Sober has alway been one of my all time favorite songs along with countless Zeppelin songs especially Trampled Underfoot.

I don't feel that being a Christian i shave to listen to crappy Christian music, but I chose to be more careful with what I take in. My general rule is not too much cussing or God bashing, I like listening to music for its artistry so if someone is being overly opinionated with what they're singing about then I'm generally not interested

If you can't listen to Led Zeppelin then it's not much of a religion.

You need to remember that the devil while he was in Heaven was named Lucifer and his primary reason for exsisting in Heaven was as the Angel of Music. Now that he has been banished and sent out of Heaven, he has influenced many of the worldly musicians by hindering their walk with the Lord. I used to listen to all of those bands and even played with a few when I was a musician, but I realized that my spirit did not get spirit filled while listening to those bands. It did not glorify the Lord. I now listen to music that lifts the spirit and brings me closer to Jesus. Bands like Stryper, Petra, Third Day, Solid Flood, Delirious, and many others.

I think listening to a kind of music is not related into religion.Someone maybe hates some musics because it is not in line with his/her taste. But I read in a hadith book that Muhammad spoke to someone that he hated a trumpet and flute or suling music tools

No - but I would prefer not to listen to that style of music. Maybe I am getting old or becoming old fashioned. That music gives me a headache.

Frankjly speaking this music conveys satanic influences, try back-masking the cd or tape or any record you have and it will reveal some messages hidden in the music itself, and you will get the big surprise of your life.

Not, but I don't listen to Tool much because I don't like the foul language. That's my problem with RATM, Korn, Disturbed, Linkin Park & others of that nature as well.

you should not be led by religion but led by a relationship with Jesus. I believe if you pray to him about your question he will lead you into the right answer. Dont be led by man, be led by the spirit of the Lord, for if a man leads you into it you do it for wrong reason but If god leads you into it you will be doing it for the right reason and it will have lasting effects
