The same reason Christians don't become muslim. ITS ALL FICTION!

There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Prophet. Obviously, the Christians and the Jews do not believe in this "God." Because Ishmael was the son of Abraham (who obeyed God), Islam gets the same "God" as Judaism and Christianity.
Muslims also believe that God will never forgive mankind for the "original sin." Muslims believe only in Jesus as prophet and nothing more.
Islam has no central religious authority (besides the Koran - Sola Scriptura in a sense) and anyone can pretty much become an imam with little or no formal training. Islam does not believe in sacraments (Baptism). Islam also believes in jinn (evil doing spirits) but not the Holy Spirit.
Political aspects aside, Islam is a nicer version of old Christian heresies which deny the divine nature of Christ.

The god of christians, muslims and jews is the same god. First, christians broke of from judaism 500 years after christ and muslims around the same time when they chose to follow muhammed. I see as much difference between these three religions as I see in catholics, luterans and baptist. They all worship the same god. It all started from judaism. It's amazing how many people don't even know their own history of a religion and a god they claim to love.
The reason Muslims don't become christians is because they don't believe in christ.

Because Christians worship a man as God. a better question is why don't Christians do as Jesus commanded and worship God alone without all your hearts minds and souls. If Christians followed the teachings of Jesus then naturally they would be Muslims. peace

Muslims will never become Christian because Muslims believe Jesus is a Prophet sent by God (PBUH) while Christians believe him as God or son of God. No offense. Islam believes that during the course of human history, Judaism and Christianity changed the real word of God and made new reliigons and ideologies. One of them is that Christians believe Jesus as Son of God and the Trinity. If the Christian as well as the Jew have not changed the word of God then all of you would become Muslims as Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is mentioned in the Jewish Torah, Christian Gospels, as well as the Books of Zoroastrianism (Parsi) and Hinduism. Very good question. There are the reasons why true Muslims won't want to convert to Christianity or any other religion:
1. Islam came in the end after all major religions. It supports Judaism & Christianity.
2. Unlike other religions, Islam emerged for all people on this earth. Most other religions were for a specific group of people.
3. Unlike other religions, Islam is not named after any person or any tribe of people. rather it means "submission to the will of God" & "peace". Which indicates it's robust openness.
4. According to the teachings of Islam, everything that a human being does with the pure intention of pleasing God is an act of worship. Due to this, Islam has an all encompassing concept of worship unlike any other religion.
5. The preservation of the scripture of Islam -- the Holy Qur'an -- is unique among world religions. No other religion has a scripture which is both as old and as well-preserved as the one possessed by Muslims today.
6. Islam not just a "religion" in the traditional sense, because it is not just confined to acts of worship, morality and other aspects of personal piety. The teachings of Islam, even though they do cover religious rituals and morality, also encompass all other aspects of life. Thus making it a complete way of life.
7. Islam accepts Moses & Jesus as two major prophets of Islam.
Islam also asserts with no doubt that Judaism & Christianity came from God. Muslims revere both of them. But Jews deny Jesus & Muhammad, Christians deny Muhammad's (pbuh) prophethood. So basically it proves that Islam is closer to truth.
8. Islam is a religion without any mythology. Its teachings are simple and intelligible. It is free from superstitions and irrational beliefs. The oneness of God, the prophethood of Muhammad, and the concept of life after death are the basic articles of its faith. They are based on reason and sound logic. All of the teachings of Islam flow from those basic beliefs and are simple and straightforward. There is no hierarchy of priests, no farfetched abstractions, no complicated rites or rituals.
9. Islam is the most organized religion. It's base is on Qur'an & Sunnah. There are four major schools of fiqh (islamic rulings) which have been consistently working to make rules & guidelines regarding new matters in wordly life. If you visit a good QA Islamic site, you will probably find people already asked thousands of questions relating their everyday life, social life, political issue, religious issue & all others & got satisfactory answers.
So basically it's not only about God, it's also about perfectness, vastness & openness.

EarthAngel you could ask the same question of christians,why don't they become muslims. in a word "IGNORANCE". GOD and allah are the same God , I say this because there is only one GOD i don't care what you chose to call him or her or it. Different religions believe there is only one way to reach GOD. Through their personal savior. they are right except for their limited view. There is only one God , Only one Christ Consciousness.but each person has their own Savior(guru,Teacher)that can show them into the kingdom of God. "CHRISTCONSCIOUSNESS" is not A person, IT is a level of awareness that surrounds the Godhead, as earths atmosphere surrounds the earth.If you wish to have unity with God you must have a Christed savior to show you the way. we all become Christians tho you may call it another name. Well, that is a good question. But Allah is not God, Allah is a type of god that religions worship. He is not the one true God. Allah is an idol.

if your Christianity says worship Jesus, or God is three, or God has a son that is a 2nd God. then that's not Christianity.
but God true religion is submit and surrender to His wills. worshiping the only one universal God = Islam

-christianity came from the word christ
-but Islam did not come after Muhammad name, Islam is truly what God wants His religion to be. submit to God and worship Him alone. Abraham was a muslim.

I don't believe Allah is the same God of Christians. The term "Christian" was given to those who believed in Jesus Christ. Allah has nothing to do with Jesus.
