Rather then you fixing it your might try having the Orthodontist or your dentist fix it. That would be cheaper then a new one and would be fixed in such a way that it still does the proper job.

You need these retainers. My dog ate my son's acrylic retainer and we had to buy a new one. Your's just broke it should be fixable no problem. At least you have it. LOL!

Call the orthodontist. They should fix it since it's only 2 weeks old.
