absolutely, people have a weird stigma about not wanting to see a psychologist. that's stupid, you shouldn't wait to feel better, their is someone out there who can help you, so why wait.

Depends how 'sad' you are. If you're sad/blue/don't feel like your normal self everyday, for most of the day, for at least two weeks, you may have depression, and may need to seek out a psychologist. However, if there's something specific that's causing you to be sad, ie a boyfriend breakup etc, then you could just consult family and friends to get through a rough patch. It really depends on how bad your sadness is, and how much it is affecting your daily life activities. Hope this helps.

Only if you're sad every day for no good reason.

Depression is called the 'common cold of mental health issues', so if you find yourself sad every day and bad stuff isn't happening to you daily, then you need a professional's advice.

good luck.

Being sad does not suggest a mental problem.. everyone has their sad times. Usually for good reason.. If you are sad for no reason, is another matter.

Unless your going to commit suicide then you would have to see one but if your just sad you don't need to just talk to a friend and then do some thing you like to do.

If you are sad all the time then I think so. Especially if it is interferring with your work and daily activities.

If you are constantly sad, it would be good since you might be suffering from depression.

If it's affecting your everyday life and you're constantly feeling tired and sad, you might look into it.
