You guys are in for a rude awakening if you discover God has a sense of humor.

Anyway, if you have a strong faith in God, you wouldn't get mad if someone questions your religion

I do not get mad when honestly questioned... But, would you get mad if someone came to your house and said they were going to take it over and kill all of your family as an example and force all of your neighbors to bow to them and do as they say froim now on... When those who are enemies of God attack... I will counter attack... a great many on this forum, while not openly saying so, do oppose God to just the extent I make as example... and those who are attacking more subtle ways are just as much an enemy of God as the more blatent...

at to your reference... I do think God must have some sense of humor... he did design the hemeroid gene..... there sure seems to be a lot of them on YQ&A

Many Christians are uptight butt-holes because they have strong religious beliefs and don't like it when other people do anything contrary to their beliefs, such as being gay, having an abortion or calling Jesus a ****. They get uptight because they know that they cannot prove their irrational beliefs, thus they cannot justify the enforcement of their religious ideology on others, though still somehow manage to do so.

At least here in Britain it's not so bad as we're a fairly secularised country (not that our government reflects that). I really feel sorry for you in the Bible Belt, Jonny. I think Britain should set up a refuge for Americans who need a break from the Christians, lol.

Why do you think we laugh? God has the best sense of humor ever. She created us so that we would find relaxation by just laughing a little.

Try laughing- then you yourself wouldn't be an uptight butt-hole.

some people are just more "serious" than others-and all people can be uptight about certain things-both of my parents are christian, my mom is more serious (by nature) than my dad, however my dad can be more "uptight" on some issues than my mom and vice-versa. But maybe the people you're talking about really do have tight butt-holes, and they can't get a good poop out-that would put me in a bad mood.

So the only people you've ever met who qualify as "uptight butt-holes?" are Christians? Seems to me you need to get out more! I find that to be a trait of people in general...I don't think Christians have a monopoly on that human failing...

the same reason many atheists and buddists are uptight butt-holes. Because that's human nature.

And I KNOW God has a sense of humor because He invented my sense of humor.

I think that people on all ends of the spectrum can be uptight butt-holes. Don't pigeon hole just Christians.

Sad to say but your right. It's just he fact that Christians don't understand the verse "You are salts of the earth. If salt looses its flavor then what is it good for, nothing but to be trampled under foot." Christian are supposed to be the life of the party and have fun within the lines of their values and rules of their denomination.

The reason why many Christians are UTBH's is because after singing "there's gonna be a floody-floody" for the 1000th time, it does weird things to their heads. Just a wild guess.
