Play some nice calm music. Birds love that. It's hard to tame love birds. When you buy a matching pair they can become aggressive toward people. They are the kind of birds that don't like to be disturbed

If the two love birds were raised by birds in a cage or aviary then they are not really tameable. Hand reared birds make the tamest pets and are usually a lot more expwensive.

How much do you try to touch them or talk to them? This needs to be frequently done more than once a day usually. Stroke thier feathers and let them get used to your hand . If they flutter around thats ok just speak softly and calmly and they will get used to eventually. You can't just stare at them for 2 months and expect them to know you.

Well, are you making sure to handle them every day? If you skip doing it for a week or so, it can undo any progress you've made so far. Maybe it would help to separate them, so they can bond to you instead of each other, plus when you stick your hand in there, they are probably fluttering as much as a result of the other one's fear, as of the action of your hand.

Lovebirds are much more tame when they are on their own, but they have bonded together and aren't interested in you. Don't separate them now, they could actually die. I guess you will just have to enjoy them without holding them.

try to get a new brid and see what they do take one of them away for about a week then see what they do (usally they want the other bird the longer they are away!)
