mmmm, I don't know what they're called but that sounds good right now. I think we called them batter bits too.

If you are talking about the left over pieces of fried batter, I have always called them Crispies.

in leeds you would ask for a "bag of scraps" but's thats only if you couldnt afford chips

i don't know dear but thank god for the U.K. i was beginning to think this was u.s tossers only zone. we used to have chip butties and a piece and jam.cheers from Australia.
