India and Pakistan both are making nuclear technology for making weapons. US know this better. India is making nuclear its nuclear weapons bacause it has to compete with China. Pakistan ia making nuclear weapons because it has to cmpete with India as both has conflict on kashmir and faught 3 wars.
Now look at the another angle:
Pakistan backed US in Afghanistan war against USSR and now Osama. India was in the USSR block during cold war.
Now USA contributing India in its nuclear program and opposing Pakistan's nuclear program.
WHY THIS UNJUST???????????????????

I'm sure you are a lot more knowledgable about this than I am, but I would guess that the reason is that India has a more stable government and is less likely to allow terrorists to gain access to nuclear weapons. Pakistan, after all, is probably where Osama bin Laden is hiding. But you are right, it does seem unjust. I don't know what the right answer is!

Funny question, why is it that everyone else such as America, UK, India, Pakistan so on and so forth can all have Nuclear weapons, but as soon as Iran, Korea, or anyone opposed to the U.S. we have to be the bad parent and tell them NO it is not alright for you guys to have what we have, you may use it on us like we are on you! Depleated Uranium is in the weaponry of America's fighting forces. Check out the radiation that lies in Iraq now, and anyother place we've decided to attack, birth defects are at a all time high and are growing dangerously out of control all thanks to America's unjust ways.

As for your question. It makes no sense. The US can choose to support, back, compete with, or disagree with any other country. There is no rule out there that says one country has to treat every other country on the planet equally. Politics are trickier than you're making it out. There are 1000's of 'angles'...not just your two.

Discrimination my as*s it is politics and what best suits the interest of America, just like other countries do. You don't no what is going on in Washington, and the information they have to make the decisions that they have made, I am sick of people talking about discrimination, Pakistan has to dam many terrorists camping around their borders and living in Pakistan.

It is not unjust. There are just too many backward barbarians from lebenon to pakistan. They love to kill and murder and have since the time of alexander. The whole middle east has no love of peace nor civilization. I fought there for years and they only want to kill and gain power. India has become a stable trading partner with america, and is not strugling to prevent terrorists from taking it over. PAKISTAN is muslim and has high probablility that it will deal with muslim terrorists, even now, president Bush has said that Pakistan is a valuable ally to us, so we are not very much in opposition to it..It is all a matter of stability and ability to defeat terrorists.

India is a politically and economically stable democracy whereas Pakistan is economically and politically unstable with a Military Dictatorship!

Why? Because the US chose to side with India in the conflict.
Doesn't make it right or wrong. It's just current politics.
Like declaring Libya an ally now, after decades of considering them a mortal enemy. It's just politics.
