I am travelling to houston today by airline. Do we need passport or green card to travel?

A passport is needed only when travelling across international borders. As long as you start in the US, you don't need a passport to travel to Houston. Just take a government-issued picture ID (like a driver's license).

Passports are only necessary if you leave the US/Canada and travel internationally. If you are travelling within the United States of America, you don't need one. Just show your driver's license.

where are you travelling from? If u live in the US, u wont need one. Houston is in texas, not south america or whtvr

yes you would have to go through customs and immigration and you need a passport for that

No you can just use your birth certificate (since you don't have a license).
