no for two reasons
firstly the skin around the pubic area secreets an oil to prevent any friction of the skin ( as does the hair) and secondly the friction against clothes does not allow split hairs to develop.
if one does have them he or she must be an unhygenic naturalist!

Do you really examine them that closely?

BTW, strangely enough, the only hair on your body that is NOT pubic is on your head. Think about it. Until you hit puberty, it is the only place you have hair.

You can google it for yourself.

So does your armpit hair get split ends?
