You are only supposed to pluck from the bottom, so shape them that way.

I would also recommend getting your brows waxed first, professionally, and then pluck away after that (so you can get the shape you want!).

1. You may moisturize before plucking, as that may hurt less. However, if you prefer to pluck your brows when the skin is dry, you may be more accurate with the tweezer.

2. Put a dab of Anbesol on the brow area to numb it, or alternatively, you may hold a cold washcloth to the brow for a few seconds before you start.

3. Decide the shape you want for your eyebrows.

4. Pluck the hairs out toward the ears, in the direction in which they grow. Remove stray hairs, but don't pluck too much at once. Pluck only one hair at a time.

5. Rub a soothing cream on the brow area afterwards.
Plucking Eyebrow Tips

* A tweezer with a pointed or slanted tip will grip the hairs best.
* Always pluck below the brow line, so the hair coming back will follow the natural arch of your brow.
* Use the top of the brow as a guide on how to shape the bottom.
* Pluck a few hairs and then stop. Look in the mirror, step back, and see how you are doing. Remember, you can always take out more later, but once you have overplucked, you'll have to live with that thin, artificial line until the hair grows back.

use something like a straw or similar object that will reach from your nose to your eyebrow and lay it against your nose. Now look straight ahead in a mirror. Line up object with the inside corner of your eye.take an eyebrow pencil or something else that will mark on your skin, but not be permanent.place a small mark above your eyebrow. Now, still looking straight, line the object up with the middle of your pupil( the black part of your eye), put another small mark right above your eyebrow. Now line the object up with the outside corner of your eye. Put a small mark there. Now these three marks represent the guidelines where you are going to pluck. If you have hair on the outside of the first mark, pluck that. The second mark is where you want the arch to be.And the third mark is where you want your eyebrow to end.You will want to thin from the second mark to the third mark fairly thinly. The first mark to the arch shouldn't be as thin. I hope this helps. If I could show you pictures it would help I know.To prevent it from hurting, you can put witch hazel on them, also pluck only a few at a time, and take two fingers and hold your skin tight, and then pluck.

1st, you must do it straigh tout of the shower b/c your skin is softer at that time. Pluck about 2 strands of hair at a time. Follow your natural arch (only pluck where hair is thin) When finished whipe with rubbing alcohol.(it may Sting)

If you get them done professionaly for the first time, you can follow the line when they grow back. Just make sure you state the 'type' you want - maybe show a pic of a girl in a mag or something, to make sure you get the exact look you want. After that its easy :)

I would really recommend that you go to a professional & get them waxed. You can explain to them exactly how you want them to look. Most placed dont charge more than $10 .... I actually get mine " threaded" its a way of removing hair that is used in the middle east. It looks great & doesnt hurt at all.

If it's your first time, get someone who knows what they're doing to pluck them for you. They can talk you through it so you know how the next time.

Only from the bottom, and only those hairs you can't comb into place, Do less than you think the first time, and add more next time if you are happy. Use good tweezers, pull with the growth
