I used to have a recurring eye-tic for about 6 months before I finally just quit my job (Worked there for 5 years, but the last 2 were a nightmare. The new boss was a huge lesbian and an even bigger *****.)

Within a week the tic was gone and hasn't returned.

It's stress related most of the time. You can either find another way to work off the stress or get rid of the thing in your life that is stressing out.

I had tried boxing, working out, etc. None of it was enough to make my situation livable. My Blood Pressure shot up during that time as well and I began suffering from sleepless nights.

Suppressing your emotions do NOT work. They will always find a way to display themselves. Whether it be taking it out on someone else, or through facial ticks, or both.

Some twitches are normal. Have you been taking any drugs (prescription or otherwise?) Some drugs can cause facial ticks, (eye twitching you describe) in a small amount of the population. See a doctor. At worst you'll need some medication to control it.

I have been told that some muscle twitching is from stress and/or not enough sleep.
I just read that caffiene can contribute to them.

Take a look at your current lifestyle. not sleeping enough? drinking too much caffiene or maybe some stress in your life??

There are also neurological disorders that the twitch can be coming from, you may wish to consult a doctor since it has been going on for a month

I've got the same. it comes and goes in different periods of time according to how much stress do you have in that period. Just close your eyes and go to a happy place.

or kill your boss with a chainsaw... and be a stressless convict. lol
