Your avatar made me laugh for some reason... You should definitely do #1. As you said the intentions of #2 would be ex boyfriend drama. Don't stress yourself out more than you have to. Since the summer is almost over, enjoy the outdoors by yourself or a close friend. Go hiking, go to the beach if you live by one, or just lay out and get some sun. Have fun!

NO to the camping with friends if the ex is going to be there. You dont need him stirring up your feelings. You need to relax.
Why not the mini vacation? Or call up one of your girl friends and hang out?

HA! You came to the wrong place for wisdom!!!!
I say avoid the past. I dont know your situation, but I can tell you one thing for certain - he is your EX for a reason. Keep it that way.
Take the mini vacation. It will do you much better. Remember - the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else!

In your situation, I'd take the mini vacation..;if you've been having a hard year as you say...the last thing you need right now is an emotional turmoil, spend some quality time where you can relax and unwind

If you need to de-stress then avoiding the ex would seem to be the best move - and who knows - a mini-vacation by yourself may bring somebody even better into your life.

What are your motives for going camping? Do you think you can resolve something from the past? Perhaps even rekindle the old romance? When you have decided, for yourself, why you want to go camping, it will answer itself. As to being on your own, when we are in pain, sometimes being with others is a really good idea.

Judging by your examples, I would say that you are leaning towards taking your well deserved mini vacation.
Do what your soul calls for. Your friends will understand.
Have a great time!

You can go with the first one for spiritual rest in mind or you can go with the second and bring a male buddy who may bring a higher self esteem around ur Ex. Smooches!

Take the mini vacation! You need a break from school and from your ex-boyfriend. Take it easy - don't overexert yourself.
