Well Lockheed specializes in marketing the aircraft and re-fitting it for the CN-235 MRS MPA (Medium Range Surveillance Maritime Patrol Aircraft) for the USCG.

EADS needed an american partner so it could be offered to the US Coast Guard.

Huh? Well it looks like 0. As far as I can find out the c-295 is built by EADS CASA/Hersteller in Madrid.
