I was raised as a Christian and I am forever grateful I was.
People say that there can't be a God if so many bad things happen. That is not true. God is letting us live parts of our lives. He can not do everything for us. We make bad decisions, we are all sinners, but we are forgiven because Jesus died on the cross to save us.
God has shown me that there is good in all things. Whenever I go outside, also, I look at everything around me and realize he created these things, or created these people who created these. All the colors are amazing that he created, the earth, the stars. I would never be able to think of any of these things, for sure.
God has made me a better person. Sometimes when I do something that isn't nice or something that leads me off the path of righteousness, I think whould God be proud of that? He has shown me what I am capable of too. I can do anything, with just a little faith!!
He has shown me just a few things of what he is capable of. It is so amazing that he has done so much for us. I feel blessed to have someone who loves me every second for who I am. He doesn't care what clothes I wear, what grades I make, what size I am, or anything. He loves me as much as anyone else and will never stop loving me for who I am. All those who believe in the Lord are truly blessed.
God has given me the most amazing family and friends. I am in Rainbow, a religious group and I have met the most amazing people and I love it. Its such an amazing organization and any girls should look it up.
God has shown me in the past week how many people who really don't belive in him, which is sad. It has made me want to spread his word more and more. I have started praying for all these people. God is awesome and loving. God has also shown me some amazing people on this yahoo answers thing though, who are strong Christians like me, and I am grateful for that. I will pray for you and God bless.
Here are some great Bible verses...
A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death btter than the day of birth. (Eccelesiates 7:1)
You will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. (Isaiah 58:9)
Do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. (Matthew 10:19-20)
If any of you ever want to talk about God or anything... please e-mail me.
God be with you.

When I was nineteen,I started writing songs. For a long time I would write them and put them in a notebook.Because I don't play an instrument myself, that was as far as it went for a long time. I am fifty-two this year. for all those years I would wonder why God didn't use them. Two years ago I started taking voice lessons. I sing at my church and wanted to give my best for his highest. One day I got enough courage to sing one for my voice instructor.I didn't tell him I wrote it. He liked what he heard,so I told him I wrote it. Since then we have been working on getting written music for them. What it taught me is this...1) Gods timing is perfect. He knows when so don't be anxious.2) these are the spiritual markers of my life. Whenever I wrote one it was because God had taught me something.3) God is more than able to give us the desires of our heart if we let him. This year I have presented two of them in my church.Sometime in the fall, we will have a songwriters concert and I will present three more. But the most wonderful thing, someone made a profession of faith after hearing one.I praise God that he allowed my song to help someone else to him. That is, after all why they were written in the first place.Praise God from whom all blessings flow.God bless your week in him.

The testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy, a personal revelation from the Holy Spirit that comes to one's heart of His living reality, His infinite power and mercy, HIs divinity as a Son of God and a Savior of the world. This testimony is a moving power in one's life to soften his/her heart and change a carnal minded natural man/woman into a Saint and transform lives. I can't describe in words who He is for me and my life. But I know without a shadow of doubt in my heart that Jesus is the Christ, the living Son of God, the Father. He created the world under the direction of His Father. Then He was chosen and foreordained to be the Savior of mankind to save all people so we could overcome death and sin. Thanks to His Infinite Atonement, I can be resurrected at the last day into immortality and my sins can washed away through His sacred blood,if I choose to repent, be baptised, receive the Holy Ghost and follow and serve Him with all my heart, mind and strength to the end. He is my Redeemer, Lord and my rock of Salvation. I know I can build my life on that sure foundation of His gospel and when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, his shafts in the whirlwind, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon me, it shall have no power over me to drag me down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which I am built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall. This is just a particle of what I know to be true about my Savior. This testimony came to my heart and mind by the power of the Holy Ghost, who testifies of the Son and the Father. Although I have not seen Him and touched His wounds, He has touched my life and transformed my life that is full of joy, faith and perfect brightness of hope.I know my Redeemer lives.Today His church is restored and there are living prophet and apostles, his special witnesses just like in the old days.

I was born with an extremely rare disorder. In fact, only 15 cases of it has been recorder in the whole history. Only 1 in 1 million babies are born with it. There's no cure, and babies usually die withing 5-7 years. My parents were told that I'd die within 5-7 years. Today I'm 19 and, though not cured, doing great!

Truely, and in all seriousness nothing. I was raised christian and realized there was no such thing, why would a god let so much bad things happen in a world to undeserving people. Christianity is a fraud, and nothing more than brainwashing of old times in the middle ages to control peoples minds.

I woke this morning, put clothes and shoes on, ate food, drove into work. I have been blessed tremendously. I have been a Christian since 1999, but have been in church since birth. I wouldn't prefer any other place. He provided me a lovely, Christian family that I was adopted into some 21 years ago. He allowed me to marry and help bring my husband to Christ. He's done so much for me.

if there is such an entity, I would have to say nothing.I have watched people suffer and die for decades.I just can't believe that this "god" everyone talks about would do this .If there is supposed to be such a great love then why is there such a void of compassion?
