You shouldn't necessarily CHANGE your shampoo, but you should keep an extra bottle of shampoo and conditioner of a different brand on hand. When you hair loses its sex appeal, wash with the stuff set aside for a day or two, and then go back. This gives your hair the variety it needs :)

You should change shampoo when your hair 'tells' you to. If your hair is 'perfect' for a month and all of a sudden it gets a little dull or dry....change shampoos. Your hair knows when it wants different nurishment. Just pay attention to your hair. There's no 'time limit' on shampoos but changing shampoos help keep the balance of nutrients in your hair.

Once every 3 months. Purchase your shampoo from Sally's. You're better off getting a good brand that doesn't contain a lot of alcohol in it and won't dry your hair out.

NEVER! You should NEVER change shampoos. That's an old wives tale. Just switch to a good salon shampoo and DON'T SWITCH AGAIN. If you don't believe me, speak with the Vidal Sassoon Institute.

You would NOT need to as long as you have found a shampoo that suits your hair and is formulated to the water hardness of the region that you live in.
