Pros:

Cons: They eat your food, they run up phone bills and leave if the phone is in your name, they are loud and obnoxious, they have parties all the time, they watch way too much sports, they leave nasty surprises in the bathroom (your imagination required here), their girlfriends are always loud during romantic interludes to let you know what they are doing out of spite, they leave dirty underwear around the house in places you wouldn't normally want to find it, they forget to lock the door when they leave putting all your belongings at risk, they have scuzzy friends over who walk off with pieces of your CD collection, they are late with their part of the rent, they always want to 'borrow' money which usually turns out to be a 'gift'.... need I say more?
I say I wasn't THAT bad but then I might be biased. JK

Can you tell I live alone?

It all depends on your personalities and your schedules. If you are cool with each other and have the same interests it can be pretty cool. But if you are opposites then you will be traveling down a rocky road unless you are home at different times. The most imporant ?'s to ask are credit history (is the person going to be responsible and have $$$ for bills) and also is the person messy or will he eat all of your food. Also, smoking and drinking and drug habits??? Best friends can become worst enemies when they live together. You need to know the guy really well before you jump into a place together.

Well, I've been to boarding school for 3 years, and I have to tell you even though it seems it may suck, roomates are much better than living alone. Sure if you live alone you have a lot more privacy, but it also gets pretty boring. Another thing is you never know whether you're gonna have a roomate who's really nasty (hygiene, cleanliness, etc.) or if you'll have a good one.

I think it's a matter of personal descision, and scince I am a female, I would say that the pros and cons are whatever you make of them.

Well, you'd have someone to split the rent, and other bills. But you would have to put up with him bringing guy friends or girlfriends in on you at any time. And maybe even interupting you and your girl.
