I know I have to drink 64oz of water a day, but when you eat high sodium meals will that mean you have to drink more water?

I'm trying to loss as much weight as possible and need some help.
I don't do any exercise. I work in a desk and when I get off from work I drive back to pick up my two daughters. When I get home I just want to set and eat and enjoy the last 3 hours I have for the day.

What can I do to change this unhealthy pattern? What store offers great - healthy food and cheap prices? What type of snacks should I eat when I get hungry/just want something in my mouth? Where can I find healthy recipes and low in calories?

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

P.S
Regular active exercise is advised with all weight loosing medicines and remedies :-) Take care

I also work at a desk all day and have gradually changed my habits to include excercise and eating better. You can go to your local supermarket for healthy foods. You have to excercise if you want to lose weight! Even if you can walk at least 10-15 minutes a day to start, then work your way up to 30-45 minutes! Learn to eat 3 meals a day Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner along with 2 snacks around 10:30am and 3:00pm. It helps you to feel full and content. Your snacks should be fruits (apples, bananas, grapes, strawberries etc.) or vegetables (carrot sticks, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes) Occasionally treat yourself to cheese sticks and potato chips, even chocolate. Just eat small portions and remind yourself that you can wait until the next day to have more of your favorite foods. I eat everything I want, just in small portions and have managed to maintain my weight. Limit the soda that you drink to once a day or every few days. I have been drinking alot of water, but sometimes that even gets boring so I will have Crystal Light that I pour into the water bottles to give it flavor. Diets don't work and neither does starving yourself! You only eat more in the long run. Just start thinking about what your eating before you eat it. If you have fast food for lunch, skip the fries. If you are really hungry that day eat the fries too, just try and have and have a healthier meal at lunch time the next day, like a salad with some fruit. That's what I do and it works. Surf the web for healthy recipes, there are so many out there. Good luck to you.

Stop buying high calorie food. If it's not in your fridge, you can't eat it. Force yourself to buy unsugared rice cakes, celery, lettuce, cucumbers, etc. You have got to STOP making food about comfort, flavor, enjoyment.

Pick up a new hobby. Why not take one of your daughters to an exercise you can do with her, for example adult/child Karate? Or just take a walk every night whether you want to or not.

Part of the problem isn't the food. It's what you're doing with your anxiety, depression, or boredom feelings. Think hard next time you have the urge to graze. What's driving you to eat? If it's stress, you need ot change some aspects of your life to relieve some of this stress. It's not just about changing what you eat but your whole lifestyle.

You might also benefit from joining an Overeaters Anon group, talking with a nutritionist, and/or seeing a counselor who has experience with compulsive overeaters.

You see your unhealthy lifestyle, no one here can make you change that, only you can do that. On your breaks at work, get out and walk, don't snack. When you get home, use one of those three hours to exercise, do it with your daughters. Get snack foods out of the house, buy only fresh fruits and vegetables, if unhealthy snacks aren't there to eat, you are less likely to eat them. Cut way back on the salt in your diet, all it does is make you retain the water you are drinking instead of letting it work to flush your system of toxins.
You know basically what you have to do....stop being lazy, stop feeling sorry for yourself....get off your backside, and get healthy, your daughters need you healthy.

Excercise three times a week but ONLY if you also take L-Ornithine. Or at the very least, Arginine. (both are amino acids. The body turns Arginine into L-Ornithine, so getting it directly just saves a step)

L-Ornithine stimulates your anterior pituitary gland to produce growth hormone. This may sound counter to what you want but bear with me. Sandy Shaw (co-author of Life Extension) wrote that when she was excercising and taking L-Ornithine, it converted 25 pounds of fat into 6 pounds of muscle. That is, she lost 25 pounds of fat and then gained 6 pounds of muscle.

It's somewhat expensive but so what? Taking it without excercising won't work. Excercising without taking it MIGHT work but it will take 100 times longer.

Step one of fixing any problem is recognizing you have one. Paragraph 2 of yours shows you have recognized the problem... now do something about it. Come on... the answer is common sense!

Just in case you missed it...
You don't exercise... so exercise
You sit on your butt all day... walk at lunch
You set and eat your last 3 waking hours... NEVER eat later than 3 hours before bed and get off your lazy butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It "ain't" easy but I guarantee you one thing... within 3 weeks you will feel better, last longer and get more motivated to do even better! IF your heart is in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Desk job, but I am sure you get an hour for lunch, so the plan is to take that hour and EXERCISE. You cannot lose weight without some sort of activity. If you cannot leave the building during your lunch hour, walk the stairs--for the WHOLE HOUR and don't forget to drink the water.

Don't try to fix your whole lifestyle all at once. Just walk a little bit each day. Extend your walk a few minutes every week. And switch to diet soda (I know it tastes worse, but it's worth it).

You need to try a medically supervised weight loss program. And be honest with yourself; if there are any other underlying reasons for your eating, you need to work on that also. Before starting any exercise program, talk to your doctor.

Good Luck
