God's love is for everyone, by believing in him and his only son Jesus Christ, you can gain eternal life with him. Is it really worth chancing an eternity in hell? The devil has everyone fooled that he will rule Hell. The truth is that Christ rules Heaven and Hell, and he crys for all those who choose pain instead of grace.

I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. (Rev 1:18)

These are the words of Christ.

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.
Rom 1:17 For in it God's righteousness is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.
Rom 1:18 For God's wrath is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth,
Rom 1:19 since what can be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them.
Rom 1:20 From the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse.
Rom 1:21 For though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became nonsense, and their senseless minds were darkened.
Rom 1:22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools
Rom 1:23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man, birds, four-footed animals, and reptiles.
Rom 1:24 Therefore God delivered them over in the cravings of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves.
Rom 1:25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served something created instead of the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 This is why God delivered them over to degrading passions. For even their females exchanged natural sexual intercourse for what is unnatural.
Rom 1:27 The males in the same way also left natural sexual intercourse with females and were inflamed in their lust for one another. Males committed shameless acts with males and received in their own persons the appropriate penalty for their perversion.
Rom 1:28 And because they did not think it worthwhile to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them over to a worthless mind to do what is morally wrong.
Rom 1:29 They are filled with all unrighteousness, evil, greed, and wickedness. They are full of envy, murder, disputes, deceit, and malice. They are gossips,
Rom 1:30 slanderers, God-haters, arrogant, proud, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, and unmerciful.
Rom 1:32 Although they know full well God's just sentence--that those who practice such things deserve to die--they not only do them, but even applaud others who practice them.

The Bible is just a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve etc, and of course some intriguing imaginary places like Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and Limbo.

I certainly don’t believe in the Bible and I doubt any reasonably intelligent person would either. However, if you view the Bible as a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve, Noah, and so on, then you can certainly start to see a clever interwoven plot, that the audience is unaware of. It’s really just a drama thriller with clever twists.

You see, if you seriously think about it in an unbiased manner, then clearly the actor God in the Bible could really be the Devil, and the audience (religious believers) are being sucked into being the bad guys, who then use religion to get everyone fighting each other.

On the other hand, the more intelligent audience (Atheists) spot the plot and try their best to teach believers that this is just nonsense, stop getting sucked in.

We're still human. We still sin and live in a world of it. Environment is a big effect of it. For example, do you expect someone who was brought up by gansters or criminals to be Christian. That's the point of missionaries, which is all believer actually. We are supposed to spread God's love to everyone and it doesn't matter if they listen or not. That's God's decision. He could be using those people who blaantly refuse God to test believers. He has a plan for everything and you just gotta go with it.

heaven is God's love
hell is God's wrath

Because we know that this invisible parent figure that was created to control the masses so many years ago is just that, a creation of man. Why do you feel the need to so blindly follow the notion of a god? Would god allow children to be born with deformities and all the other things that are wrong in the world and just expect us to accept it because it is some type of ultimate plan? Please.

Earlier today I pointed out that sometimes atheists SEEM angry because we get frustrated correcting the same mistakes and myths over and over and over again, ad nauseum.

Here is a great example.

We have the general idea that the Bible says P is true therefore P is true. Mountains have been written or spoken on why this won't cut it.

We have a version of Pascal's wager. Mountains have been written or spoken on why this is a logical fallacy.

Yet here they are.......

AGAIN!

I rolled my eyes so hard when I read this question, one of them popped out.

As my agnostic friend put it, "I'd rather spend an eternity in Hell than worship a being that would create such a place."

Think about it.

If God were a human being who had a club or a group and said "Join me or I'll kill you", and as long as you joined him everything was fine but if you didn't join him he'd torture you to death... would he be someone you'd want to associate with?

Sounds a lot like a "protection racket" to me. "Pay me what I want and do what I say and you won't get hurt. Don't pay me or don't do what I want and you die slowly and painfully."

I'll pass, thank you.

By God's grace all men are set free from the evil that is in the world about us, it is my prayer too, that all men and women will put aside their foolish pride and come to a relationship with Jesus.

Why would I want to spend eternity with a God who would send me to ETERNAL HELL just for not believing in him or Jesus? He's supposed to love us? Then why would he do that to his creations? What kind of God would do that - and why would you worship something like that???

common sense is why i don't....don't get me wrong the bible is a good thing to base your life on but to give all your energy and even a percentage of your thoughts is a waste of time to me. the bible teaches to live your life as a good person and that is a good thing but but people take it way to far. to actually believe there is a god and a devil....that know one has seen ever!!!! is ridiculous.....of course these are my thoughts and opinions
