I love cheese and jam sandwiches. The best are mature cheddar cheese and raspberry jam (with seeds). Yummy!

My mom puts cheddar on her PB&J sandwices.
I've put raspberry jam (and marmalade and blueberry jam, separately, of course) on Brie spread on a French loaf.
I think I will try it with cheddar.

not quite a delicacy in America. however, my grandmother came from Staffordshire and she'd give my mom and her sisters toast spread with bacon fat.
About the only thing my grandmother made that my mom still makes to this day are scones.
