Which part of the bible teaches that stuff about accountability?

They can't. It's a satanic teaching that unfortunately, many Christian sects have adopted. Babies are born innocent and they cannot commit a sin until they reach an age where they can actually be accountable for their actions. They are born into a sinful (ie mortal with the ability to commit sins) state, but they are not actually guilty of anything when they are born and have no need to be baptized until they reach the age of accountability.

Because God is just. While a baby (and that would be from conception, since that is when life begins) is born with original sin, God does not hold that child accountable until it is old enough to really understand about sin. That age, I think, varies from child to child. I was 9 when I realized that I was a sinner and needed God's grace to get back into a relationship with Him. My great-nephew was only 4.

It would be unjust if God punished a child before it was able to understand its own sinfulness.

Does this mean that little children do not sin? No, I don't believe that is true. Look at small children playing and you will see that there is a tendency towards selfishness and wanting to have things their own way (there's that original sin!). We have to teach them NOT to be that way. They do sin, but God knows that they don't really understand what they are doing yet.

Well...that's a good one. My teaching has taught me that the child is innocent because he/she is not the one who committed the sin (conceived in sin) and he/she is born innocent. however, each is born into sin. By nature you don't need to teach a child to lie. They firgue it out all one their own. We are all born with that. Once a child reaches the age of accountability, then he or she is responsible to seek out their own savation. Until then, the innocent baby/toddler who can barely distinguish right from wrong, let alone understand, if killed or they died or whatever, in God's eyes would be innocent to enter into heaven. Once they are taught and actually can understnad, they will then be held accountable in God's eyes for their sin. Um...at least I think I said that right.

Children are born in original sin. This is why infant bapism is required in order for them to be able to obtain heaven. Without it, they go to limbo, a place of perfect earthly happiness (because they are innocent-through no guilt of their own) but without the sight of God. We are all born sinners because we are not perfect. But a child becomes perfect after baptism until the age of reason (about six or seven) when they understand the difference between good and evil.

Here is one way to describe Original sin.

The paradise in which God created the human race was a place where all people lived in complete holiness. They loved God with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their mind. They loved their neighbors as much as they loved themselves.

Then the first human beings disobeyed the commandment of God, choosing to follow their own will rather than God's will. This was the Original Sin.

As a consequence the first human beings lost the grace of original holiness, and became subject to the law of death; sin became universally present in the world.

Besides the personal sin of the first human beings, original sin describes the fallen state of human nature which affects every person born into the world. Therefore we are not responsible for Original sin but we are affected by it.

It was this fallen state from which Christ, the "new Adam," came to redeem us. Jesus makes paradise available to us again and teaches us how to live there, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

With love in Christ.

It has been understood that a child is innocent until they are at an age of accountability or they start making decisions on their own , but we all fall short of the glory of God because of Adam & Eve and what they did . It defined how we as humans are to live . We have free will to accept God's plan or not . Peace be to you and God bless you
