Girls should i get highlights i have medium blonde hair? If so what color?

If you want to get highlights, then go right ahead. With medium blonde hair on guys, I've found that either lighter natural looking blonde or darker blonde highlights look the best. For me it's all about if they look real.

you could get a shader lighter of a blonde or get some light brown highlights

I would get highlights that are one shade lighter than your hair.
