I actually feel a little lonely, All of these years believing and now that I realize the truth life feels so weird and meaningless. Lately I hear people talking about religion and how they believe in Jesus and stuff and it just puts me a little down. I mean if you believe that's fine, you can see the world better, "you can live happier", you have someone "to pray to", to "guard you" , but as a realist myself, I just can't live a lie, even if that implies being miserable. I've been there and I swear I was very devoted since the day I was born but I don't see the point anymore. I mean is "God" playing The Sims with us? What is he doing? As I read once, "Religion was created by man to explain the meaning of life" But that's just my opinion I could be wrong,,, nobody knows anything...do whatever you want, believe whatever you want but always respect others...

Well, I'm an Agnostic (agnostics rule!) because I don't believe we can ever truly know anything. But I do feel better to not be a Christian anymore because I see what so many jerk Christians have done to people in the name of Jesus. I thought Christianity was about peace and love but...apparently some just can't do that.

Agnostic, but I still suffer the effects of the brainwashing, constant guilt like someone is watching everything I do and if I have a bad thought I am going to hell. I have lived according to the teachings of Jesus most of my life, and still do because they are fundamentally good, but it's funny how many "Christians" do not.

I've been free for about 5 years now. It feels great. I've even gotton to the point where I no longer feel bad for having been so gullible all those years.

Agnostic, but it's lovely not to have the guilt, and othe b.s that seems to come with most organized religion. It's a huge weight off of me.

I don't know since I'm not one. How does it feel to not have any hope in anything? What a sad way of living thinking there is no hope and nobody to help you.
