My initial thought was that he's pretty controlling and you need to nip it in the bud now as a couple of people have already said. But then I thought a bit more - maybe he's just insecure.

I know where you're coming from - I have to have plenty of space - but some people don't seem to have that same need. Maybe he just doesn't fully understand it because he doesn't like being alone in the same way that you do, and you need to reassure him that it doesn't mean you're not into the relationship as much as him, and that you're not with another guy when you're not with him.

Do tell him as well that if he keeps putting pressure on you he will end up pushing you away and you don't want that.

Nobody needs to be together 24/7, everybody needs their own time and space just for them. It sounds like your boyfriend is either very insecure of himself, doesn't trust you, or is a control freak. You may want to get out of the relationship whatever the reason. You didn't state what your ages are, but I think you should leave this one alone. I hope this helps.

Everyone needs there own space whether you are just dating or even married. If he cant see this and is smothering you then tell him how you feel.If he dosnt listen then you need to move on and its not healthy to spend every waking moment together. You were an individual before you met him and that should not change so dont get lost in someone elses shadow.

If you and your boyfriend know each other a very long time, it can be diffucult to tell him to bugger off. But if you know him not that long you should decide what is best for you! Otherwise if he has a hold on you seriuosly you should ask for professional help.

WATCH OUT he is a paranoid little control freak. Be very careful and you need to get this sorted out NOW because this can lead to more abusive behaviour later. I should know.
