I need to buy a new NIV Bible from somewhere. I don't know the background or support base for Family Christian Stores and there is one in town. If they are supported by Family.org (Dr. Dobson) I would prefer not to support their cause by buying a Bible from them. I've never been in the store because I thought they were affiliated with family.org.

Does anyone know their ownership information or if they are openly outspoken about any issues?

Do you know any chain stores to buy a Bible from?

Yes. But they all support Dr. Dobson's views because they are biblical. Go to Walmart and buy a Bible or order from Amazon and you won't have to worry about it.

No, I don't belive Dr. Dobson is affiliated with these stores other than they may sell his products. What do you have against him? Barnes and Noble carry Bibles. So does Wal-mart.

Lifeway bookstore. they just sell Christian material, they aren't affiliated with anyone. it's a national chain of stores.
