On occasion it is ok for them to eat it but do not let that be their only diet. Cats need specific nutrients that are not found in dog food. Without these nutrients cats can actually die.

No. I f the dogs were eating the cat food, the worst that could happen is diarrhea. However, cats are prone to urinary problems and the formula used in dog is all wrong for them. I could go into detail, but just don't do it . You can research more info on the web. Good Luck

It's not a good idea to allow a cat to eat dog food, it's not nutritionally balanced for a cat, they have different needs to a dog, as one example, cats require higher protein levels. Some cats can get very ill from feeding dog food, such as pancreatitis which in a cat is extemely difficult to diagnose.

Cat food is for cats, dog food is for dogs...you can make a cat go blind by feeding them dog food....it is actually far less bad for a dog to eat cat food.

As long as they don't get too much, it shouldn't really hurt them.
