Consider for a moment the fact that your present body is in a constant state of dying and being reborn. According to biology every cell in your body is replaced at least once every 7 years. So every 7 years you have a completely new body, although you, the person riding in that body, is the same. This is reincarnation in action right before your eyes! "As the embodied soul continually passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change." Bg. 2.13

So you may or may not believe there is life after "death" but the fact is that actually the body is never alive in the first place -- its just the vehicle for the soul. And the soul never dies. "For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain." Bg.2.20.

So its the presence of the soul within the body that makes the body seem alive. Thats why when the body 'dies' and the soul leaves the body its called 'death'. There is no such thing as death technically since the body is never alive. Matter is always dead. And the body is simply composed of material elements.

In view of this then, what is the problem with understanding that life -- which is the soul, our real identity-- survives the final end of the body? To investigate this further, I suggest you check the Bhagavad-gita online: http://www.krishna.com/e-books/.

Genuine mediums and psychics are connected to the astral world, this is not to be confused with the spiritual world. As was correctly presented in a previous answer, you are not the material body, nor are you the subtle body, the material body is constituted of molecules and atomic particles and the subtle or astral body is constituted of mind, intelligence and ego.

Beneath these two material bodies, is the pure original spiritual body, both the material body and subtle mind is constantly changing, but the spiritual body is eternal, a simple analogy of this is "You may get into a car and drive it, but are you the car? or the driver of the car?".

Genuine mediums and psychics connect with entities who no longer have a material body, but are attached to this platform of existence for varying reasons, therefore they remain in a subtle or ghostly form. As your statement implies, there are many cheaters, but their are many cheaters in all organisations.

In conclusion if you can realise that you are an eternal spiritual person who is having a temporary material experience, rather then a material person with the potential to have a spiritual experience, then you are self realised and can make a serious attempt to find out who God is.

specific and it extremely is call "Reincarnation" it extremely is a spiritual (like Hindu and Buddhism) and philosophical (Buddhism) theory that the spirit, after organic leave, starts a sparkling life in a sparkling physique that could be human type, animal or religious finding on the reliable and undesirable high quality of the previous life's. For an occasion- there are such various toddlers born many times going on , each and every 2nd all over the area and so so does animals.. some toddlers born in undesirable family members's and a few born in wealthy and a few in between, some born with disabilities and a few healthful.. some toddlers born and die at that occasion like they see the international for few seconds and a few are paralyses and ailment.. some born interior the international places the place they have the conflict and a few no longer.. and likewise, why do animals born.. as a replace of born as animals.. why can not those souls born as people?? all of them are the end results of what they have carried out of their previous life, do no longer you think of?? :)

Many people wonder what happens to us when we die. Churches, of one faith or another, have taught us many different beliefs about afterlife communication throughout the ages. The atheist viewpoint is that that once we die we simply snuff out; much like a light bulb that has finally blown. Some with a reincarnation leaning may believe that when we die we come back to live another life. Some followers of reincarnation believe we may return not necessarily as people next time, but in other forms of life which would depend on the deeds we accomplished in our last incarnation. And some angel enthusiasts believe we go on to become wonderful angels, loving and guiding anyone who needs our help.

In my afterlife communication work I connected with people on the other side (and sometimes a stray pet or two.) http://www.psychic-junkie.com/afterlife-communication.html

my personal view is that we are all a part of a world consciousness, unfortunately not many of us believe it. If they did they would realize that working together is infinitely better than working against each other. To realize your greed, vanity, etc do not work toward making the world a better place for all is to come from a place of spiritual maturity. So to answer your question my belief is that when you die your small piece of consciousness is reunited with the larger. The dog and park? I don't know.

Imagine this. You’ve just bought a new home which you furnish with all sorts of nice fittings and fixtures, then prepare the grounds and garden. You plant a wide range of trees, shrubs, flowers, plants and vegetables. You clip and prune as time goes on, spray the weeds, and generally keep your property in good shape.

Many years pass and your gardens are flourishing, not a weed to be seen anywhere. You head off on holiday, a weed pops up and bugs start to crawl all over it. Not to worry, when you return home you spray the gardens, killing all the bugs and weeds. Everything is back to normal.

Now consider the universe. After billions of years a little planet (weed) called Earth pops up and it’s crawling with bugs called humans. Do you really think the gardener (or creator) really cares about the bugs and weeds? Do you think the gardener cares if he destroys you? Do you think that the bugs (humans) on the weed (Earth) have any idea what’s going on in the rest of garden (universe)?

What do you think happens to the bugs and weeds after they die?

There is life after death and it happens right here on Earth.
You can never pay for all your sins nor can you benefit from all your blessings in this one life.
How can you explain a child born less fortunate than the other or the rich living a great life, materially.
They are paying or reaping the rewards of their past lives.
