I like to try all different kinds for several reasons: Some shampoos are for shine, others give volume and body, and still others add just a hint of color to the hair, or are designed to preserve color-treated hair from fading. Another reason is because even if you've found a shampoo you really love, eventually the hair gets accustomed to it and then doesn't work so well. You have to switch off occasionally, or at least alternate among several different shampoos. Some good ones I like are in the Pantene line, also John Freida, and Suave. Sometimes I use the salon-type like Redkin or Joico.

Clairol Herbal Essence. Their shampoo is the best. Moisturizing and yet rinses clean and very fragrant. The hair feels really good afterwards.
