Abortion is the killing or terminating of a life within the mother's womb before it has a chance to grow OUTSIDE of the female womb. Science and religious groups have concluded that life BEGINS at conception....(When the sperm meets the egg and is fertilized, then you find out you are pregnant) The argument of "glob of tissue matter" is bogus since, life can not derive from nothing... Life begins by two alive eggs (male and female) to make a mysterious life.
Abortion is not the easy way out... its a short answer with LONG TERM affects. over 60% of women who undergo abortions suffer from post abortion stress syndrome and become depressed, suffer anxiety, regret, sadness, suicidal, and emotional grief like losing a family member. Also, abortion is a franchise made "easy" by doctors and organizations (Planned Parenthood) who make MILLIONS off of young girls who dont know the real facts.
Abortion clinics are like companies who want your money and make it seem like a solution to a "problem."
Think about it, how do you prevent a a life from continuing? You terminate it... How would you end the life of a 16 year old? You stop it, end it, kill it.
How would you feel if your mother decided not to raise you anymore and wanted to forget everything about you when you were15 years old... Say she was planning on killing you... isnt THAT a bit inhumane? If a mother decided to let you live, but couldnt handle the responsibility... the next best thing would be to let you grow with parents that want to take care of you, want to raise you, love you, and nurture you. Or like ADOPTION.... ADOPTION allows a mother to choose if she is not ready to have a baby yet or not, choose the parents, choose the amount of contact with her child, name the baby... etc. Adoption doesnt have the permanent effects like adoption... you cant reverse abortion... You have plenty of time to think about adoption...
First of all, abortion is the inhumane killing of innocent babies. "It is a poverty to let a baby die so that you may live as you wish"- Mother Theresa
"If it's not a baby, then your not pregnant."
Abortion ends life... life begins at conception. Period.

I would have to say that I am personally against having an abortion. There are alot of reason not to do it. I personally would never have an abortion. In cases such as being raped and not know how you could live each day looking at that child just to be reminded that you were raped... I couldn't do that. But I would give it up for adoption. Some women just can't handle the fact that they are going to have a baby and financially they can't and won't so they take care of it. I just don't think that anyone should have an abortion but they do I read on a billboard "We call it abortion, God calls it murder!" And that is what I think about the situation.

i don't disagree with abortion if it is for the right reason. say a 14 year old gets pregnant that going to ruin her life and she will always be know as the sl*t or getting pregnant so young, or if you get raped and end up pregnant, or if you are extremely ill and may not be able to carry a baby to term... those are a few reason for it that i am not against. its the people that basically use it as a method of birth control that piss me off. if your a good age and in a good place in life you have no reason not to have a baby. if you really are agianst being a parent then there is alway adoption. millions of families a year want to adopt becuase they can't conseve themselve and it gives them the opportunity to raise your child.
me personally and please do not judge had just turn 15 and found out i was pregnant, my mom was pissed and she said if i has a baby that young she would take it away and never let me have it back. and giving a baby up for adoption would be so hard because i threw a fit when my mom wanted to give away my cats kittens i was to attached to them and i couldnt imagine what a baby would be like. so i had an abortion. i don't regret it because it was the right thing to do at that time. Now i'm 22, i would have an 8 year old. if now i was to get pregnant i would be so happy i'm at that point that i want children, i'm ready to be a mommy and am at a place in my life where i can take care of a baby, i am married, have a house and have the money for it.

I recently recieved an e mail with an attachment that showed a newspage from Europe. It was a Doctor operating on a fetus that was just barely developed and still inside it`s mother. After the sac was cut and the Doctor began his operation, the baby stuck it`s hand through the cut in the sac and grasped the Doctors finger.Everyone was in shock. He said it was a VERY emotional moment. How could anyone think that a baby is not alive until after it is born?If abortion was right, then it would be ok to just take any of your children out and kill them any time that you were tired of having them around. What`s the difference? As far as a Mother`s life being in danger,we used to live in a society where a Mother would gladly give her life for her child. What happened?Abortion is nothing short of coldblooded murder.

My opinion is that it is not for me to judge whether or not abortion is wrong for anyone but myself. People are so concerned with condemning other people for having abortions, but I also hear that it's wrong for people to give their kids up for adoption and that women just shouldn't get pregnant in the first place and so on. Well, things happen. Women get raped, birth control fails, etc. Choosing abortion is a pretty personal decision that a woman has to make and live with, not Pro-lifers or Pro-choice people that are arguing. I chose to give birth to my daughter and the baby I'm carrying now because I am able to care for them and have no justification for having an abortion.

It's not a question of whether I believe in abortion...I think it's a rather desperate attempt at freedom from responsibility...however, I belive that a woman(and the father) should have sole discretion on whether to have one done. The world is overpopulated and impoverished as it is...if the mother does not have proper education about protection, or doesn't choose to use protection or protection fails, abortion may be the right choice for someone who does not have the resources to raise and sustain a healthy child.

I disagree with abortion because first and foremost its murder. What angers me even more is the fact that people choose to have an abortion often as a way to avoid the consequences of their own behavior.
People have freedoms in this country and that means you have the freedom to act responsibly or to act irresponsibly. When you CHOOSE to act irresponsibly then you have to live with the consequences.
America should ban abortion with the only exception being that if the physical health of the mother is in jeopardy and it is the last option to saving her life.

Instead of focusing on the unborn I wish Right To Lifers would concentrate on the already living and unwanted who die in foster care and those already living with grim hopes of a future.
I don't think an ignorant or raped woman should have to carry a baby to full term. I think a woman should have the right to choose
Or what next? Do Right To Lifers and the Religious step in to examine every case where a woman has a miscarriage? Could that death have been prevented?

I DISAGREE!
When you decide to have sex, you have to be able to deal with the consequences, if any.
Your not able to get rid of some diseases, and people learn to go on with life. They should do the same with a child.
God put each and every one of us on HIS wonderful earth for a reason. We must take life in stride as it comes, how ever it may come.
The way I see it: If you don't want a child right now don't have unprotected sex....Oh, and condoms break, so maybe you shouldn't have sex at all!
If someone becomes pregnant and decides that they don't want the child, then they should give the child up to adoption. I believe it's there responsibility to, at least, get the child here in as a healthy a state as possible.

Well personaly i dont believe in abortion unless they have been raped or under 15 i'm sorry but if you are over the age of 16 and did not use protection then you have to be an adult and deal with the responsabilaties and so should the guy.
