Just diet won't help you, you need to think about lifestyle change.
Here are few ways in which diet differs from lifestyle.

1> Diet is nothing but a number game. The number might be on the scale or the number of calories you eat or the number of calories you burn. And success in terms of diet is measured in terms of how well you stick to the numbers you would have set for yourself.
When it comes to lifestyle everythings about you. Its about, your personal eating and physical activities, your goals and desires.
Success here would be defined in terms of how, the changes you have made helps you feel about yourself.

2> Diet forces you to believe that reaching a certain weight or the mark you would have set for yourself is the key to finding happiness. On any good day if these numbers just mess a bit, it would be so upsetting.
Where as lifestyle teaches you that obesity is not problem but just a result of some probelm. Instead of worrying about being obese, concentrating on the finding slolutions for the problems responsible for being obese is what lifstyle points us to.

3> Diet means lots of changes. Changes in your eating techniques. Changes in the type of food intake. Start counting and measuring. So when you are on diet its not you whos working for you but the technique you are following. Once you reach your desired goal.. everything seems to go back to normal. Everything including your weight. And, so your problems solved wth diet also seems to be fine until there.
Where as making a lifestyle change, not only involves an internal change but also a permanent change in eating, food and physical activity. Here you realise the primary concern is not the food intake or how much food you have but it is about how and why you eat.

Well so a successful lifestyle change will help you stay fit and healthy in the long run.

If you are adomant about loosing weight quickly then you can probably use one of the diet pills available in the market like hoodia. Though such pills should be taken with doctor's prescription.

Sorry, no miracles. The best you can do is a good exercise plan and reasonable diet. Try following the food pyramid and spread it out over the course of the day, so you don't get really hungry. If you're not used to exercising, start walking every other day, then do aerobic exercises 15-30 minutes every other day. You won't be hanging from a charm bracelet immediately, but you should notice a difference.

Regular exercise and healthy eating. Eat 3-6 times a day, remember to watch those portion sizes and when you snack, snack healthy on fruit and veggies. Don't forget to allow yourself a sinful snack once in a while...depriving yourself of a cookie or a scoop of ice cream now and then is setting yourself up for failure. See MyPyramid.gov to track your intake and analyze your food intake for the day. Here you can track your physical activity as well. Good luck! (by the way- don't pressure yourself for the "perfect" bod...be happy when you reach small goals along the way)

Getting the "perfect" body in a month is not a realistic goal.

By exercising 30 minutes every day, 6 days a week, by eating nutritious foods 5-6 times daily, once every 2-3 hrs, staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water, and by taking a quality multivitamin (Iike Double X), you will perfect your body gradually over a lifetime of healthy living.

You can ensure that you will not regain the weight you've lost by creating exercise, healthy eating, and supplementation HABITS. When you make them a part of your lifestyle, you will keep the results, without thinking about it. Make living fit a part of your lifestyle that you do without thinking by creating habits.

Enjoy your results,

exercise helps you to lose weight faster than a diet. 5- 10 minutes a day really helps burn calories and keep weight off and when u exercise u feel happier - endorphins (a chemical secreted when you exercise) or when you drink try water instead of sugary drinks little things like that help and you don't have to go on any professional diet. if you must diet eat healthy food like veggies and pasta, cut down on meat, eat more fish - it is healthier with less fat. plus you can have larger portions if you are hungry without having to worry about gaining fat. bananas are good too! (looking at ur name) eat more fruits rather than processed food in packs from the grocery store.
