Hunny, What is atheism? Atheism is characterized by an absence of belief in the existence of gods. This absence of belief generally comes about either through deliberate choice, or from an inherent inability to believe religious teachings which seem literally incredible. It is not a lack of belief born out of simple ignorance of religious teachings. Some atheists go beyond a mere absence of belief in gods: they actively believe that particular gods, or all gods, do not exist. Just lacking belief in Gods is often referred to as the "weak atheist" position; whereas believing that gods do not (or cannot) exist is known as "strong atheism." Regarding people who have never been exposed to the concept of 'god': Whether they are 'atheists' or not is a matter of debate. Since you're unlikely to meet anyone who has never encountered religion, it's not a very important debate...It is important, however, to note the difference between the strong and weak atheist positions. "Weak atheism" is simple scepticism; disbelief in the existence of God. "Strong atheism" is an explicitly held belief that God does not exist. Please do not fall into the trap of assuming that all atheists are "strong atheists." There is a qualitative difference in the "strong" and "weak" positions; it's not just a matter of degree. Some atheists believe in the nonexistence of all Gods; others limit their atheism to specific Gods, such as the Christian God, rather than making flat-out denials.

I was Born Christian, because I decide that when I was in heaven with my Hevenly Father before I came to earth. Etheist or not, our lives is writing in GOD'S PLAN.
I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus.

I know you don't want non-Christian people to answer this but, I simply could not pass it up! Are you kidding me?
Here is a question I have for you. If you believe in God, can you explain why He allows non-believers to be born? Or, why does He give some people the intelligence to question religion and His existence?
What in the world do you think an Atheist is? A monster with horns and fangs? A human with a devil inside? A person who can change your mind about whether your religion is valid?
What are you afraid of that would make you ask this question? You must be a kid. I hope you do not grow up to be a bigoted, up tight individual who presumes he has a right to impose his beliefs on others!
Question everything! Think for yourself and enjoy your life!

That's sad for all the Christians that would rather not be born at all rather than be born an Athiest! That's some good brainwashing there!
I'd choose a chance at life!
And if you were born an Athiest, you really wouldn't be miserable since from birth you'd be free of the dogma. You wouldn't have any knowledge of the other side of the fence!

I do not consider myself a Christian but I do believe in the Most High God. To be born an atheist would not be an option. NO!

Noone is born atheist. It is a horrible choice some do make. In fact the curiousity some people have is because the spirit of God is missing before we are born again so there can be emptiness before one knows the purpose of human life etc.

I would like to be born perfect with no worries and being I like myself the way I am regardless of what others feel, atheism is out of the question. I am not 100% christian because I am a sinner. Anyone who sins is not 100% Christian (although God loves it when you try to not sin). When you are truely with God you just don't have a reason to sin anymore. Although life is always a struggle... I would rather be born just me and have God accept me as I am. I am a not so perfect mild sinner who believes in the Lord. Afterall, he did create me you know. And I often feel that God is not perfect because he created us in his own image. If he wanted us perfect, he wouldn't have given us free-will. He just wants us all to believe.
I know this sounds a little lost but your question: is very difficult to answer. Sorry: I tried.

I am not a christian.I am a muslim. All babies were born in this earth like a white paper neat and clean.He/she will be a christian,a muslim,a buddha ,a hindu and whatever religion or an atheist depend on their parents and their surroundings/environ
ment
The children will be influenced by their parents which religion will be selected and learned by them. But after they are old enough the soceity will gives impact to them especially their close friends around them.If they have a friend who sells petroleum they will smell petroleum. So before they are grown up,the responsibilty of their religion lies on their parents.God will ask for their responsibility and accountability. If they gave a wrong religion non islam to them, their parents will have a big sin.But after they are grown up they bear/burden their own responsibilty to their God.
If they select not a right choice they will bear their own sins.

I would rather choose "neither" because that's a conscious choice that we or others choose later in life. Some people find solace in God, some don't. I'm actually neither Christian nor atheist, but somewhere in between, since I'm open to both sides, so to speak. (I need to be as part of my job as Mentor/Spiritual Counsellor. It gives perspectives and options that *all* can relate to accordingly.)

I was not born a Christian and no one can be born an atheist.
We are God conscious tho, whether we like to admit it or not.
It was my personal choice to become a Christian, a decision I made when I was thirteen years old. That was 37 years ago, and one which I have not regretted. In fact I am eager for others to know God.

That's kind of an odd question. Your born with choice- people aren't born atheist or Christian. They are born with a choice... So i guess i'd rather with born and have that choice.
