Well Karma is VERY poorly understood in the west.

"You reap what you sow" is a very basic way of understanding the concept, but very limited.

The idea of a "Threefold law" puts a sort of mathematical precision on it that any purporter would have to explain. They cannot, it is more allegory and not very useful.

Classical, legitimate teaching on karma is a bit too complex to cover every angle here. But basically, logical analysis of any object whatsoever reveals that our minds create a sort of image as to how things in the world exist. This image, upon further analysis, is false. We imbue objects with too much independent existence. It is in essence the same as the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum physics or Godel's proof.

Since the source of this mistaken or incomplete perception of reality is the mind, the mechanism must lie in the mind. Analysis and practical experience through meditation will show that the actions within the mind (physical and verbal actions too arise from our mind first) change or skew the way in which we will be forced to view the world around us. That's karma. That's it. No God or gods doles out cookies or spankings when we do "good" or "bad." The mind takes care of it for us. For instance, if you, based on misperception of reality, kill things, you are building up a sort of energy(this is allegorical energy) potential in your mind to percieve more killing in your environment. It will translate into you being forced to see your environment as dangerous, people as hostile, and your body as damaged or sick. Put different causes in your mind, and you will get different results. This does not mean you can just wish away your problems or arbitrarily decide that a $1 bill is a $100 bill. The mechanism of how ground consciousness carries the results of past actions is complicated and I've already been typing like for a week.

I wish, I have tried to live my life that way, I try to be honest and kind to everyone, but I get allot of crap in return, and of course some good. I have found no evidence of Karma really, I wish there was.

Karma is the universal law of causes and action. It definitely comes back to you, be it good or bad.

Karma is also known as excess baggage in our life, we need to get rid of them.

However, karma is meant to be worked out, eliminated in order that we are pure enough to be with the Creator.

I believe in Threefold Return, which is very similar, except that it occurs in this lifetime, as opposed to over reincarnations.

But yes, I fully believe that what energy I send out - for good or ill - will come back to me in some form.

i used to be a Buddhist, yet i've got not got self belief in Karma. the finished coaching, on an identical time as based on the regulation of reason and result, seems to be yet in any different case of administration human beings. right here, extremely than going to hell for sinning, one is subject to dissimilar grotesque rebirths. as quickly as upon a time, I used to artwork in a toddler's maximum cancers wellness center. I spent many hours looking into the eyes of dieing infants, and in no way as quickly as observed something that informed me that they have been paying a debt from a prior life. And, what relating to the hundreds of infants that starve each and on a daily basis on planet earth. Karma says that they are ravenous because of the fact of a karmic debt that they incurred in a prior life. i do no longer purchase that for a 2nd, as gentle an expiation because it extremely is. some 30,000 infants die each and on a daily basis because of the fact we don't provide a damn, and for no different reason. The coaching of karma makes the sufferer, despite the fact that if the sufferer is a toddler, to blame for his/her situation. Or shall we seem at a rape sufferer. Do you extremely have self belief that the sufferer of rape is in basic terms repaying a karmic debt? there is plenty relating to the Buddhist teachings which would be inspiring to genuine non secular searching for, yet while they ask you to "have self belief" in something - pay attention.

Blessed be...

Absolutely...even in Wicca...we have what is known as the "Three-Fold Law of Return"...(quote-'Ever mind the rule of three...what ye send out comes back to thee')...

It goes along with the Wiccan Rede...(quote-Bide the Wiccan Law ye must...in perfect love and perfect trust...Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill...'An ye harm none-do what ye will'...And ever mind the rule of three-what ye send out comes back to thee...Follow this with mind and heart...and merry ye meet...and merry ye part)...

Karma affects EVERYONE...no matter who you are...

Love and light...
