I do believe you are right! So many Christians don't actually research their beliefs, they just blindly believe what their church or elders say. Atheists usually have put a lot of time into researching different faiths and beliefs. For me, it wasn't a decision I entered into lightly. I've done a lot of research before I decided to give up Christianity. If Christians would put as much time into a unbiased study of their beliefs as I did, then I think we would have some really awesome debates with a lot less name calling. After all, if you don't have facts to back up your position, all you have is your personal feelings, and those are hard to defend without getting upset.

Yes. If faith is so virtuous, you have to wonder why he doesn't congratulate those who have achieved a higher level of faith than himself (from his perspective), rather than mocking that faith.

Isn't that lack of appreciation of his perceived great faith of atheists a bit telling of what he reeeeeaaaally believes about faith?
