My ex won't agree to a new visitation schedule. Right now we split the time during the week and I want it to be once a week. Is there anything I can do? It is becoming a problem with my current girlfriend.

what is the problem exactly? it's not very clear by your question.
dogs are considered property, and I don't think the courts would step in to set up a visitaion schedule. I guess you have 3 choices: give up the dog, accept your current schedule, go to court and sew for ownership of the dog.

1. Court
2. Offer to buy her another dog, And you get the one you want.
3. Forget about the dog and concentrate on your new relationship, you do not want to loose your new girlfriend over an ex. Personally I would offer her money or a new dog. Then court!

Well, if you are talking about you not seeing the dog as often, then yes, if you are talking about keeping it from her, probably not. Unless you go through courts (small claims) and get sole ownership of the dog. People have done this in cases where one of the parties was moving away.

Go to court...just like children..Pets are the same thing...if you can't agree then you need to make a choice...you new girl or your pet....I say pet....

DEPENDING ON WHAT STATE YOU LIVE IN, DOGS ARE CONSIDERED PROPERTY. THINK OF YOUR PET, IS SHE IN GOOD HANDS? BEING TAKEN CARE OF PROPERLY?
DO WHAT IS BEST FOR THE DOG NOT FOR SPITE OR FOR
ANY OTHER REASON THAN FOR THE WELFARE OF THAT DOG. HOPE THIS HELPS.
