It's obvious you are not married or you would already have a phobia of in-laws.
Pick a fun phobia. Like clowns. Plenty of evil clown movies to watch.
Or maybe you could pick a phobia that goes along with personal preference. If you have a phobia of naked fat guys, you have a reason not to go out with someone who is out of shape.
Be sure not to pick a phobia that would inconvenience you. A phobia of doorknobs would really, really suck. Have fun chosing your phobia.

Why do you feel the need to have a phobia? Do you think that everyone does? Maybe we all do, but for the most part, it doesn't control our lives. For example, I hate snakes with a passion. But that doesn't stop me from going on hikes in the woods. You just have to be mindful of where you're at. If you don't have a phobia, I would say that you are pretty strong mentally and not easily led. Don't worry about not having one. It's not really something that should be a goal in your life.

Well, try not to be claustrophobic.... sometimes even having too many people in a movie theatre can throw me into a deep anxiety attack, it is not cool or enjoyable in any way.

Maybe you do have a phobia -- a phobia of not having ia phobia.

Most phobia's are caused by an extreme event in a persons childhood, it may have seemed like nothing to those around, but to the child it caused an unbelievable sense of fear, and the fear, now often seemingly irrational, is because it awakens memories of that fear from childhood -- at least that is what my Counseling/Psychology professor at university told us.

Hello! This is a very interesting question and I would like to help you with this. Having or wanting a phobia is not uncommon, all people have some kind of fear or anxiety about something. I would recommend the next time your heart starts to beat real fast or you fell like running, stay where you are and develop this into a full blown phobia...Good Luck

Why would you want a phobia? You don't really want a phobia, you just want attention, is my guess. And if that's true, then no, nothing is wrong with you--you're a part of 99% of the population, I'd say.

You probly just want to feel more like other people. Most people have a phobia. You probly have one that you don't know about yet and if I were you I would see a counsler. I have a feeling you already have one and that is the phobia of feeling rejected I don't know the exact name of it but that's just a thought. Oh and don't throw yourself of a bridge.

No nothing is wrong with you. My brother has Phobia also. If you play PlayStation, Xbox, Game Cube, Nintendo...etc. Do not play it as often. Do not eat to much sweets and when you think you are having an attack splash water in your face is what my aunt (A Professional Doctor) said.
I hope it works for you.

Sounds like you are bored, or need some extra excitement or attention. Find a hobby, new friends, go some place new. I'm sure nothing is really wrong with you. You can always ask your parents for some advice or just see a shrink. I'm sure you are afraid of something, we all are. It's a matter of letting it controll your life or not is when it becomes a problem.

I don't understand. What do you mean you WANT to have a phobia? Why would you want to have a phobia? Either you have one or you don't. So, to answer your question... yes there is something wrong with you.
